Free Disarmist Book on Amazon Kindle

Ansel12 has reported that the book "The Pros and Cons of the Gun Control Debate - How Do Obama's Laws Impact Gun Ownership" is anti-second amendment propaganda tied to the Obama administration. The original title of the book was "Why Gun Control Will Solve Our Problems."

Most of the reviews claim that the book is "fair". I believe that is completely false. A reviewer says this:

4. Succinctly describes what the gun control debate is all about. “Overall, the gun control debate taking place in the U.S. is not about a reduction in gun ownership, but about a reduction in gun violence.”

But that is exactly *not* what gun control is about. It is a false premise. It is the cover that the disarmist have sold us for the last 80 years.

I have not read the book, but others may be willing to take the time and debunk it.

Actually, if you’re looking for good deals on Kindle, you can get the “Osprey Guide to” history books for a $1.49 each.

Learn everything you need to know about the Wars of the Barbary Pirates or the Seven Years War on the cheap...

If you have a smart phone or tablet, there should be a Kindle App available for you to download.

The book was free for a couple of days, and might be free again at some point.

Here is part of one of the reviews.
3. Does a good job of defining terms. “Assault weapons are only able to fire one round at a time for each time the trigger is pulled; therefore, even though there is a misconception between assault weapons and automatic weapons, automatic weapons have the ability to fire a steady stream of rounds by just pressing and holding the trigger where assault weapons cannot.”

The chapter titled What is The Second Amendment and Does it Apply to The USA Today mentions NOTHING about the United States and speaks exclusively about how gun violence has dropped dramatically in the UK. No bias there.

So, what was that about the 2nd Amendment?

Well, they need to disarm us first before they give the country to the Chinese. (story above this one)

But “gun violence” has *not* dropped dramatically in the UK.

In fact, “gun violence” has “increased* in the UK since they instituted gun control starting about 1920.

“Overall, the gun control debate taking place in the U.S. is not about a reduction in gun ownership, but about a reduction in gun violence.

I guess that's why liberal gun grabbers almost exclusively target the guns and the gun owners that are responsible for the least amount of gun violence. because it's not personal or anything, it's just all about reducing gun violence. Riiight. got it.
