Dictionary.com has added “microaggression” and “gender-fluid,” among other words, to its new list of definitions this year.
In an official post on Dictionary.com’s blog from Wednesday, the site explains, “In our latest update to the dictionary, we added more than a thousand new and modified definitions including gaming words like esports, permadeath and completionist, terms to prepare you for the 2016 elections like slacktivism, and gender-related terms agender, bigender, and gender-fluid.”
What are the definitions of these words? Dictionary.com lays them all out:
“Microaggression: a subtle but offensive comment or action directed at a minority or other nondominant group that is often unintentional or unconsciously reinforces a stereotype.
“Gender-fluid: relating to a person whose gender identity or gender expression is not fixed and shifts over time or depending on the situation.”
There are also words like “bigender” and “agender,” for people who apparently have no gender or have multiple genders at the same time.

Control the language and you control the mind.
Note that it isn’t possible, under these daffynitions, to “microaggress” a person of the majority (an oxymoron of itself, because each person is obviously a minority).
In purportedly decrying crude tribalism, these liberals simply affirm it more strongly. Are they pledged to stop when the majority tribe du jour ceases to be so? (I thought not....)
Question begging, of course, but again it is so WHITE to use logic.
How can anyone be ambiguous about gender?

Microagression is replacing the word racism? Now you accuse people of microagression and everyone has to be sensitive to your perceived slight(s)
Accusing everyone and everything of racism, real or imagined but mostly imagined, was wearing thin.
When a white women got in an elevated, with several black men, she supposedly clutch her purse and was fearful. That would have been a act of microagression?

Waiting for someone to explain to me how something can be simultaneously "directed" and yet "unintentional" in 3... 2... 1...
Also: What is it then called when the roles are reversed and the person making the "offensive" comment belongs to the minority or non-dominant group and the "offended person" belongs to the majority or dominant group? Reparations?
