This is the main problem with modern conservatism.
What makes conservative ideology so unappealing to otherwise intelligent and successful people?
Stephen King. J.J. Abrams. Steven Speilberg. Tom Hanks. All brilliant and enormously talented. You'd be a fool to think otherwise. These are extremely intelligent and talented men. Yet, they're all very Liberal.
The Conservative movement needs to do some serious soul searching to figure out how to attract these kinds of people. It at least needs to defend itself and go on the attack.

I suggest we get past the idea these people are brilliant. They make up stories.
It would be more accurate to say they are the opposite of brilliant, when we define brilliant as it should be defined—the ability to discover truth.
These guys seek the opposite of truth.

There are millions of brilliant and talented people in this country. Collectivist billionaires and CEOs and Corporate Boards only choose to elevate the collectivist geniuses. But they do not define the limits of genius, neither in number nor talent. They just place their lives in the complete control of the collective, and are happy doing it. All the other talent is left to rot. Accepting this state of affairs, supporting it and dedicating ones professional life to it, is what the world calls "smart."
And look at the state of the world today - it's the direct result of the efforts of all these "smart" people.

Maybe Hans as an actor, but then again not a deep one. Just likable.
The others are hacks.
Or, they got their by selling their flesh, and souls by the pound to the devil, and are just paying their debt to satan?
Seriously, the more you think about it, the more you wonder.
It’s said that many musicians have sold their souls, even Hendrix wrote years before his death exactly when and how he would die. Like he knew. I imagine actors have as well.
Perhaps the leftist controlled hollywood and media just blacklist all conservative talent, even if they were the best talent ever seen.
I have often wondered this. But barring the supernatural, It’s either my last thought, or the environment involved with being a “star”/”talent” produces these mush thinking boobie heads.
Or, it’s just their marching orders. “For your next film/book/album to be successful , you must say this/that.”
It’s well documented that “stars” all use illuminati symbolism at a rate that is approaching zealotry.
The Leftists have controlled the culture since before Kinsey (the pedophile) was the rage and best seller (The Left marched through all institutions by the 60s to gain control over all ideas of our children)—with the neo-Freudian textbooks and “literature” in the 60s on.
No one is saying that the Leftists aren’t geniuses-—they are-—but they promote Evil and corrupt children’s worldview and corrupt (destroy) culture.
Fame and money corrupts-—materialism/naturalism/scientism rots the soul. The Bible is correct and people who promote filth like King are evil. They couch it—yes and make evil look brilliant—but it is still evil to put his type of images into the brain of children and teens and even adults.
The seduction of evil is also hard to withstand....the Bible is clear on that, too (and correct). You elevate the mind in leisure and innocence is essential to childhood and normal sexual identity formation (awe and wonder). Virtue is learned and habituated-—it is not accidental and will not exist if rot is poured into the worldview of children and Vice is glorified and made attractive.
Temptation is hard to resist unless you have character-—which isn’t instilled in children anymore. The rotten culture sees to it and undermines any good that parents do. Lies are made into truth.
The habituation and practice and healthy role models that are needed to instill character hardly exists anywhere anymore-—and certainly NOT in the pop culture. The fractured family destroys the worldview of children.
The movement of the culture has been always to the sewer, since the 60s and even before-—as G.K Chesterton and CS Lewis stated in the early 1900s. Or earlier when Nietzsche stated “God is Dead”. Frank Capra-types became the oddity and Billy Grahams were mocked and marginalized-—as was the word Jesus which was banned from all culture, as Satanism and paganism (yoga/new age (One Mind/collectivism)) was promoted 24/7 to children by the Kings of the world.
Toxic cultures-—like the vulgar Weimar Republic—destroy the minds of the children growing up in such warped environments which promote vice 24/7-—where Truth/God/Virtue is mocked continually and vice and dehumanizing acts are normalized. It rots the minds of children.
Stephen King is the king of kitsch.

You’ve confused celebrity with genius. Tom Hanks couldn’t pour piss out of a boot. And while Spielberg is no doubt creative, that doesn’t make him smart.
