Just guessing ... Wyatt Earp, in his later days in California? Most folks don’t realize he passed away in 1929. A long and full life.

That might be a strong clue considering that legendary lawman’s latter years.

Except Wyatt Earp was primarily a gambler and land speculator in the final decades of his life. He had an honorary deputy title in the 1920s, but he had no police authority. Also the picture shows a 1933 Ford which Earp would never live to see.
