The argument that Scott Walker Supports Common Core is false

A few months ago, I received the following Eblast (provided in italics) from another PAC supporting a different presidential candidate.

Some of the information is misleading at best, and false to its core at worse:

Dear Fellow Conservative:

You’ve probably already heard of Common Core—the latest federal “education” program being rammed into local schools from coast to coast.

Common Core is gaining more traction as a bad program, one which states have already rejected outright or opted out of altogether. Even New York State is pushing back against the further federalization of education.

Common Core is another one of those issues that Walker is seemingly still evolving on.

I think one of the latest statements from his press secretary was rather confusing and sounded like he was talking about some kind of opt-out type of thing.

Scott Walker - “Hey! At least he’s better than Bush!”

That may be damning him with faint praise, but to be clear - I *will* vote for Walker if it’s the general election and it’s either him or a demoncrap. In the primaries, I’ve yet to see anyone more compelling than Cruz.
