My Internet service was out for less than an hour....and for that Ive gotten no less than FIVE phone calls to alert me to the fact that service in the area of the outage was reestablished....almost two hours ago.
who could imagine!
Just tell em that you’re muscle head Rob Lowe and you’re going to pop their head like a grape.
Time Warner Cable does the same thing annoying as hell
well I did get a 3 dollar refund...for todays service....but I may have to turn my phone off.
I did not ask for...nor hit any KEYS indicating I WANTED any call backs..
my installation here was INSANE...
i was told there had never been any cable at this location.....wrongo
the truck came out,...but could not communicate with anyone at their offices...by phone...only by email....
it went on that way for three days...
why complain....let its “off my chest” now anyway
The only calls I've ever gotten from Time Warner is when I've called support about a problem, and they've called back with an automated survey.
I met a kid a few weeks ago who’s certain that the NSA...has him bugged bigtime
it may be so..
As new and better technology is being developed, cable will be a thing of the past. I can't wait.
They outsourced most of their tier one agents. When I was there 5 years ago we had great support servicing our local market. They centralized everything at a division level and outsource during peak hours and at night.
The Philippines and New Dheli are some of the ones I always talk to.
Im assuming that they have a one size fits all policy re their call backs...
they call whether you want a call or not..just to make certain that EVERYBODY gets a call.....
they appear to take the most simple route available to them.
I reemember seeig DISH TV ads.....touting thier “internet service”....which...is handled”.....i.e.provided....by..... none other than AT &T....what a surprise...
the Internet Service Industry is NOT in it’s infancy...so one would think that there would be few kinks to work out but apparently stupid hasnt been cured yet.
When we have reported a problem, time warner usually calls us back three times..all automated, then it stops..usually its within the same day of the initial problem, sometimes its a day later letting us know the service has been restored
They have numerous outsourcer companies contracted. They still have Shore based support, but it can’t keep up so they have like a 50/50 split. You can usually get transferred back to the US if you say you can’t understand them.
I figured they called to tell you your FR graphics overloaded their carrying capacity.
;-)
Love it.
