birth defects are especially common in poor areas where people don’t get proper nutrition- there are hormonal imbalances and things like acromegaly are common in some regions which causes deformed skulls, large bones etc (Andrea the Giant- the wrestler had it, and I had it too but mine occurred after my growth period stopped, so I wasn’t affected by giantism, just some slightly deformed bones and joint problems- all due to hormonal imbalance, although mine was due to pituitary tumor
Yeah, the horse story is bogus, unless the horse was the equivalent of 90 years old and had arthritis or something
But mineral deficiencies, or too much minerals will cause deformities as well- as will bad nutrition-
They said her son was quite tall, and I saw a picture of him and it looked like his forehead was deformed a bit kinda like folks with acromegaly- jutting eye ridge, large jaw etc-
