New internet regulations finally released by the Federal Communications Commission make 46 references to a group (Free Press) funded by billionaire George Soros and co-founded by a neo-Marxist.
The FCC released the 400-page document on Thursday, two weeks after it passed new regulations, which many fear will turn the internet into a public commodity and thereby stifle innovation.
Leveling the playing field in that way has been a clear goal of Free Press, a group dedicated to net neutrality which was founded in 2003. ...
The term Free Press is mentioned 62 times in the regulations. Some are redundant mentions referring to the same Free Press activists comments in favor of more oversight. ... FCC cited Free Press pro-net neutrality arguments 46 times.
The FCC received more than 4 million public comments as it was weighing the net neutrality initiative, but Free Press and other activist groups have received the most attention by pressuring the FCC and the White House...
One argument made against the FCCs regulatory push is that the general public is largely happy with its internet service. Support for net neutrality was seen as the domain of special interest groups like Free Press.
The activist group has big money behinds its effort. It has received $2.2 million in donations from progressive billionaire George Soross Open Society Foundations and $3.9 million from Ford Foundation.
And one of Free Presss co-founders, Robert McChesney, a communications professor at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, has not been shy about his desire to see the internet regulated heavily.
But internet regulation appears to be only part of McChesneys more radical agenda ...
In the end, there is no real answer but to remove brick by brick the capitalist system itself, rebuilding the entire society on socialist principles, McChesney wrote in a 2009 essay.

“In the end, there is no real answer but to remove brick by brick the capitalist system itself, rebuilding the entire society on socialist principles, McChesney wrote”
Socialist principles builds nothing. It tears down and builds nothing of worth in its place. It is capitalism that built up the internet. Not socialism.
“Common sense” speech control.
The logical next step after “commons sense” gun control.
Robert McChesney is a radical of the worst kind - an unapologetic enemy of free speech and free enterprise. It is an obscenity that he is on the public payroll. If I said what I REALLY thought of him I’d have the FBI at my door.

What, pray tell, are we waiting for?
I’ve fought in one war; now, here’s the next one right inside our beleaguered and now pitiful nation.
It is the usual communist commutative political thinking. They use words like “scientific”, “smart” or “common sense”, as if a convicted whore for science was a scientist, type groupie system. It is a way for convicts to use politics to bypass their penalties and get elected, with useful idiot religion snobbing real scientists feeling flattered by it.
Most liberals are dunces and have no respect for science at all. They all hate school and learning, and they persecuted teachers and good students.
We see the same thing when they say a scientist like Alan Turing was gay and atheist. Or a woman CEO had abortions. Ok. These people were smart but were not perfect, so does at mean every dumned down convicted whore having abortions make a scientist? No! It is not commutative. They are just adopting the label while destroying the essence.
You forgot “unsustainable” and “sustainable” from your excellent list of “code” words of the Socialists, and don’t forget to add “Fair.”
