Please see post #4. I think Conservatives should care very much about Selma on the 50th Anniversary of the march. It provides a great opportunity to point out that the wanton violence of that era was orchestrated by the DemonRAT party. After all, the Ku Klux Klan is a facet of the DemonRATs. Wallace and the rest of his bunch were all liberal loons and that can't be emphasized enough. Capitalizing on Selma is a good strategy to highlight the righteousness of Conservatism today as it was then when Charlton Heston fought the 'RATs at the Pettus Bridge.
