In an interview with Sean Hannity, former speaker and 2012 presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich remarked that, Obama's refusal to meet with Israeli Prime Minister, Bibi Netanyahu helped to "turn the speech into a world-wide event".
He further commented that weeks earlier when it became public that Obama would not be meeting with Netanyahu during his visit, immediate requests for tickets exceeded the house capacity by 2,500 seats.
He added that, "Netanyahu's popularity among both sides of the isle was so great, that it took him much longer to make his way to the podium than it does Obama prior to a "State of the Union speech", because so many people from both sides of the isle wanted to shake Netanyahu's hand and get some 'face-time' with him.
Gingrich said "Obama cannot bring himself to call Isis evil", among other blistering remarks.
Good point Newt.
We may find more unintended (good) results of Obama’s means, methods, and agenda as we go along.

I disagree. He is bright red for his communism, bright green for this support of islam, and a bold black for his blatant racism. It’s the rank-and-file Progressives who see him through a filter that turns those bold colors into bland earth tones. To them, the red is brown, the green is tan, and the black is gray.

Bibi showed Obama to the be the JAY-VEE national leader in the world. Putting all of Obama REAL motives aside, it was refreshing listening to a real leader stand in front of our House, make his point -— AND NOT HAVE TO TELL A STRING OF BLATANT LIES to deceive and defraud Americans.

As usual, Gingrich has the ability to look at issues in a larger more important scale. Newt is a statesman in every sense of the word, a national treasure. Sadly, conservatives couldn’t get past his marital issues, of course Ann Coulter, Brit Hume, Michelle Malkin, Rick Santorum, etc. helped stoke the fire.

I miss Newt as speaker. He was not perfect, but he was 1,000 time better than what we have now.
Obama snubbed Netanyahu’s 2011 address to the joint meeting of Congress without worldwide attention.
What was different here was the White House stonewalling requests from Rivlin and Netanyahu, and publicizing their temper tantrum.
