Why do you say the Bible is the only word of God?

I rather answer the question that should have been asked: "Why doesn’t the LDS Church officially use the Inspired Version rather than the King James Bible?"

After all; your own AoF casts dobt on the KJV, with the phrase "...as long as it's interpreted properly."

Why is the KJV STILL in the Quad?

Why hasn't the Inspired Version replaced it?

After all, one of the best LDS apologists said...

It contains all that the King James Version does, plus pages of additions and corrections and an occasional deletion. It was made by the spirit of revelation, and the changes and additions are the equivalent of the revealed word in the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants.

Yes, I understand that it's so much more fun to pull imagined splinters out of someone else's eye....but...lets stick with the beam in yours for the time being.

Lets try this again: Why do you say the Bible is the only word of God?

Surely you have an answer right? Surely you've put some thought in to this, right?? Surely you're not walking around proclaiming, "A Bible a Bible we have a Bible and we not any more Bible!", with out knowing why....
