Among the 110 California patients, 49 (45%) were unvaccinated; five (5%) had 1 dose of measles-containing vaccine, seven (6%) had 2 doses, one (1%) had 3 doses, 47 (43%) had unknown or undocumented vaccination status, and one (1%) had immunoglobulin G seropositivity documented, which indicates prior vaccination or measles infection at an undetermined time. Twelve of the unvaccinated patients were infants too young to be vaccinated. Among the 37 remaining vaccine-eligible patients, 28 (67%) were intentionally unvaccinated because of personal beliefs, and one was on an alternative plan for vaccination.

Mexico has a vaccination rate of 89% and the US has a vaccination rate of 91%. Neither rates are high enough to sustain herd immunity, and those numbers provide no evidence that the disease has been introduced or spread by illegal aliens.
I read about some facts on Typhoid fever on Wikipedia. There were 161,000 deaths in 2013 due to Typhoid worldwide and millions of cases. It occurs mostly in children between 5 and 19. It is strongly endemic to parts of South America and endemic to Mexico. Coincidentally the strongly endemic parts of South America were the nations where many of the kid invasion last year came from. There are about 10 cases of Typhoid in Ohio every year and the Ohio gov. websites do not recommend vaccinations. I’m betting this is the one.
For ebola, they send a private jet!
And we know why it spread.....
If you got a problem with measles then maybe ya just gotta admit that a measle vaccination is in order.........
FWIW, I either had the vaccination or caught the measle but I survived as well as all the other kids in my small town. We may have grown an extra ear but that was blamed on the downtown tanning factory......

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
I don’t think this has much to do with illegals, school hadn’t started when that rinovirus outbreak started, and if it really was “caused” by illegals you’d think we’d’ve heard about some illegals getting sick.
This measles outbreak is cause by white liberals (and some non-liberals I’m sure) not vaccinating their children.
They are foolish and they’ve been sold a pack of lies and they are endangering their children and others.
It also pays to have some people not vaccinated so we can do these studies. If at least 5% of the population is not vaccinated there is a control group to study the affects of the vaccination. Given that the vaccination changes every few years (companies change, process changes, etc.), and the illness morphs, there are always good reasons to see if the vaccine is working or is faulty.
No, it does not. They have not declared, if this was the wild virus or vaccine induced. Seven patients were vaccinated with booster. The vaccinated could of spread the virus. The shedding of the virus, post vaccination, is real.
“This measles outbreak is cause by white liberals (and some non-liberals Im sure) not vaccinating their children.”
That would be the answer.
You always say this. What is wrong with what you say is that there are many illegals in the US that are not from Mexico.
Why is it that you keep spouting this?
I do not get it. Surely you are not ignorant?
No, you are wrong. People who haven’t vaccinated are not from any certain political party.
Is there some reason you WANT to believe what you say?
That person never posts a source. I wonder why? I do not think this person is a troll.
Yeah, that author seems pretty clueless.
We cannot know the actual “field failure rate” since we do not know the number of people exposed.
However, we can be sure that almost all of the unvaccinated who were exposed caught the disease, and that hardly any of the vaccinated caught it.
Measles will infect 90% of the unvaccinated.
Vaccination is 95-98% effective (it is more effective after the second dose).
Spread with the help of illegal enablers.
Of course, that’s why the Doctor and the label, warns you to stay away from people immediately following the shots, because you can get others sick from the actual virus injected into you.
Funny. It appears that 13% were properly vaccinated, including one who tested as having immunity. Still, the number of cases would have been a lot worse if no one was vaccinated. But 13% is a far cry from 3% claimed failure rate.
I t was never eradicated in the US. There have been cases every year. (My daughter had the measles in 2001 - she was fully vaccinated, thank you)
You "heard"? From the government? Then it must be true. How many of the Disney employees are unvaccinated dreamers?
Uh, most of the illegals on the trains were from places further south than mexico. BTW, how on earth are we supposed to believe that the children born in dirt poor areas of mexico are vaccinated?
