My ouija board tells me that there will be NO woman presidential candidate of either party on the 2016 general election ballot.

The chaotic and scary scenarios around the world and on our economic front will cause voters, rightly or wrongly, instinctively to support perceivedly-strong male leadership in the next election. Who will emerge on the masculine side, I don't know....but someone will.

Wishing hard for a petticoat or pants suit president will not make it so, unfortunately for many posters on this conservative board.

I agree. Governor Plain is not going to run. One thing to remember is that she still has a small contract with FOX, smaller than last time, but it still exists.

If she were going to run she would be spending time securing big donors and setting a machine in place. She has not been doing that.

Her family, lovable though they may be, are unruly and she knows it.

People should remember her words from 2012 when she said that if she ran, she would not be able to be herself. She is correct about that.

I will admit, she is a far cry over Obama, but her chance to win isn’t very good. She does not enter what she probably can figure is not a good chance of winning.
I do not blame her for that.

Running is a drain on a person’s whole family. The truth is one person, be it Palin, Cruz or whomever, will not be able to turn this country around alone. We are too divided and conservative people would not act in the defiance of the Constitution way that the Obama admin operates.
