Jazmine Hughes is tired of people making jokes about white people. Ms. Hughes is African American. And, no, she is not saying that minority people should not make fun of white people. Instead, she argues that white people need to stop making fun of white people.
African Americans and other minorities simply need to make fun of white people. That is a simple truth, according to Hughes. The fact of the matter is that minorities need racist humor "to placate themselves in the face of the overwhelming reality: It’s just better to be Caucasian."
Racist humor against whites, she continues, is "one of the most enjoyable" ways to "fight prejudice." But it is not something whites should do, even if they're making fun of themselves.
"This is how the party ends," Hughes writes, "with white people wanting in on the joke so badly that they create a separate category of “cool” white people who mock their own whiteness in an effort at solidarity."
Jokes about white people, Hughes continues, are not actually about white people, but are about "socioeconomic circumstances" and truthful "inequalities between whites and other races."
In the very rare circumstance that "white people are the actual target," she explains, it's not actually about all whites, but funny things that certain parts of the white community do.

Humor is often about ironies, hypocrisies and other inconsistencies.
Race is certainly an area where many of all races are material for humor.

Her point seems to be that all whites are bad, but when whites make fun of white people they are trying to exempt themselves from the “bad white people” category and that should not be permitted.

As usual, the stupid, it burns us.
In fact, some years ago I read an article by two white liberals saying whites should not play the blues because of slavery and discrimination. I suppose that should be extended to whites should stop the racist act of listening to black music. Maybe they should stop the racist buying of music from black musicians as well.
This is a good idea. I hate listening to hipster liberal comedians making insipid jokes about whites. This may force them to actually be funny.

Revolution is called for. Skin color be damned! It is well past time to set the narrative right in this country and put an end to the unbelievable absurdities gripping our society at this time in history.
Sitting by and allowing these proclamations to be accepted is tantamount to societal suicide, IMO.
As far as I can see, another Civil War is no longer avoidable unless civilized persons in our country are no longer prepared to fight and sacrifice in order to keep our way of life perpetuating.
Sad to see this come to pass in my lifetime, but with all of the apathy concerning societal requirements over the last several decades, it is no surprise.
Interesting that she mocks (rightly so IMO) the Whites who self-denigrate in an attempt to show a “solidarity” with sickos like herself. I guess she thinks Blacks can conquer on their own.
