I’m shocked, shocked.
Of course he does. This is quid pro quo for Meeks helping deliver some inner city black votes to rich WASP Rauner. It's interesting that Meeks loves to beat his chest about how supposedly pro-life and pro-family he was, but has never once supported a socially conservative Republican in his life. Then Rauner comes along and "pro-life" Meeks was happy to endorse the abortion loving RINO.
>> Mega-church Pastor James Meeks, spiritual advisor to President Obama, reputed Marxist, pursuer of social justice, is appointed to the Illinois State Board of Education <<
And you left out "Jesse Jackson's second-in-command at Rainbow-PUSH". The real question here is whether some conservatives are gullible enough to not understand what Meeks is. Disgustingly, I actually heard some conservatives PRAISE the appointment of Meeks to the IL Board of Education, making some laughable claim that he has integrity and is "independent" of the RAT machine.
>> I think the millionaires and billionaires, the elite if you will, want Common Core. If Rauner is part of that crowd, hes playing the game as one would expect. <<
I find it cute how the Rauner fanboys in the GOP are gushing since Monday about how he's going to "demonstrate conservatism can work in Illinois" and "bring businesses back to the state" and he's "hitting the ground running" blah blah blah. Yeah, he's hitting the ground running alright... running the state right into the ground, that is.
Which conservative will run against Rauner, in the 2018 primary? He got about 40%, last March.
