Oath Keeper Patch: Wordlessly making a statement supporting freedom, individualism, free speech, and anti-establishment views
Almost cut my hair It happened just the other day It was getting kind of long I could have said it was in my way
But I didnt and I wonder why I feel like letting my freak flag fly I feel like I owe it to someone
Im not giving in an inch to fear Cause I promised myself this year I feel like I owe it to someone
David Crosby (CSN&Y)Almost Cut My Hair
Many readers wont remember this, but before liberals became politically correct collectivist cookie-cutter conformists there was a time when they championed freedom, individualism, free speech, and anti-establishment views. But those days are long gone, and they have morphed into, not just a caricature of themselves, but into some bizarre simulacrum of what they once protested against.

today’s “liberal” is the most rigid, thoughtless, ROBOTIC creature known to have ever walked the earth
EXACTLY HOW I FEEL...!!!
I call them potted plants. Just standing there waiting to be fed, watered, given sunshine and incapable of experiencing the world outside of their pot. If their benefactors (the taxpayer) dies so do they for they are incapable of surviving without help.
“Like lookin’ in the mirror and seein’ a police car’’. I remember that time. I was one of those kind of liberals once. No more.
I still get nervous.
And a lot of people who grew up with those lyrics and during that time are now standing up to government oppression. Not everyone from that time were misled as the 80, 90s and 00s rolled around. Many were independent thinkers much like the founders.
A lot things were happening back then, some joined and became part of the machine they were supposedly against, and made it worse, more punitive, less freedom and more controlling. They became the same exact people they didn’t trust and in fact even went on the establishment payrolls. Once in power, they became the worst of the worst.
Many others became wiser and were able to sort out the betrayers and endless BS.
Over time, people have confused the drop out, back to the land, own guns, raise chickens and hogs, few hippies of the 60s; with the future politicians and rich kids, and politicized college kids of the 60s.
Hippies weren’t yippies, and they were not going to college and getting law degrees and studying environmental science and oceanography, they were going Galt and trying to get away into their own free world.
Actually they were almost always pro-Communist.
“And a lot of people who grew up with those lyrics and during that time are now standing up to government oppression”
Like who?
They are the ones who actively sought to destroy what we had and succeeded.
Utter revisionism.
Your silly cryptic posts don’t do much, or say anything.
Not meant to be cryptic.
They are in answer to posts responded to.

Kindred spirit..?
Yep
I was there sorta
Let me make it clear to you.
This:
Over time, people have confused the drop out, back to the land, own guns, raise chickens and hogs, few hippies of the 60s; with the future politicians and rich kids, and politicized college kids of the 60s.
Hippies werent yippies, and they were not going to college and getting law degrees and studying environmental science and oceanography, they were going Galt and trying to get away into their own free world.
Is utterly divorced from any reality with regard to history and meaningless to the extent there is some truth to it.
Like me and many others.
Easy question.
