Well, they did it again. A few years ago, NBC was roundly criticized for omitting "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance in one of their promotional pieces. Now, they are doing it again. The question is... why?
As reported in The Washington Times, the promotional video for NBC's new show "Allegiance" uses the Pledge of Allegiance in the background of the clip:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Notice anything missing? The Pledge is used in its entirety except for the words "under God." Fox News' Todd Starnes called NBC to find out why they left out "under God" AGAIN, but he received no reply.
It's not the first time the Peacock Network has dissed a deity.
In 2011 NBC was forced, yes forced, to apologize after they omitted the phrase "one nation under God" from its coverage over the U.S. Open Championship. It happened not once, but twice.

As noted in Todd Starnes' story:
NBC released a statement to the trade publication Broadcasting & Cable and said the decision to eliminate God was "made by a small group of people."
"This was a bad decision," NBC stated.
So... if it was a bad decision back then, why are they doing it again now?

Did they really think people wouldn't notice? NBC may have a problem with God, but most people in America do not.

The ungodly do these stunts to get free publicity for their recycled programming because they have no original shoes to offer. The younger demographic does not watch television except for sports. Much of TV’s audience is trapped in airports, doctors’ waiting rooms, and nursing homes.

What Liberals hate about God is that only God has the power to rule. . .which has been endowed, by the Creator, to each individual, thus the only just form of government is one which derives its power by the consent of the governed. This is what liberals hate. . .and that it makes a God-affirming people much more difficult for a godless State to control.
Probably more under the influence of doubleknit polyester, but I digress...
BTW, the answer to the article's question is simple. Remove "under God," which was added by Congress in '54, and the Pledge reverts to what it was originally intended to be, a pledge written by the socialist Francis Bellamy, as part of his efforts towards a socialist America.
Good luck getting liberals to see that, though. They’re perfectly content to screen out “troublesome” phrases and pat themselves on the back for being such good imaginary Christians.
If you you can not see the influence of the Devil in so many things occurring around you today you are not a believer in the One True God. If you are a believer, you can feel and sense evil when it is in your presence or occurs around you. He is your shield, stay steady in your belief and never forsake Him.
I'll be watching that one night at the next RAT convention when they attempt, again, to include God in the official platform. The last one was pretty rough as they held three votes and rammed it through just like they did with Commiecare. Next time will be even worse.
