Imprisoned Saudi blogger Raif Badawi, to face first whipping

Saudi blogger and activist Raif Badawi, sentenced to 10 years in prison and 1,000 lashes for insulting Islam, is set to receive the first set of 50 lashes tomorrow.

Badawi will be flogged after Friday prayers tomorrow and continuously over a period of 20 weeks as the remainder of his sentence is carried out, according to Amnesty International.

I've never been to Saudi but I *have* been to the UAE...which is right next door.The UAE is considered to be,by Arabian Peninsula standards,quite "liberal".But it *is* possible to be beheaded there...attempting to convert a moslem to another religion is one way you can lose your head there.

Needless to say,I never tried it.

THis is a good reason to exterminate Islam, starting with nuking Saudi Arabian cities, villages and every last known dwelling palce of every Saudi.

Then give the rest of the Muslim world 72 hours to level all mosques, madrassas, and kill all Muslim religious realers and educators, and burn every Koran.

If a Koran is found in a community, that community must be bombed until the rubble bounces. Fuel-air bombs are our friend.

The military has a phrase to describe such threats: “Honor the threat”.
