Global Warming Is Dead And Irony Is Alive!

I see the loyal Opposition re-elected their illustrious leaders yesterday; they are beginning to act more like Democrats every day. ‘Nuf said.

So as the next do-nothing Congress convenes Big Guy will travel to Detroit today to take another victory lap (this will make what, a thousand?) for the auto bailout. In an exclusive interview ahead of today’s speech BO warned that cheap gas can’t last:

I don’t know about you, butt when Big Guy warns about the price of energy going up, I pay attention:

“Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

As the Detroit News reported, Big Guy will be at a Ford Plant today to give one of his historic, legacy-building Big Reads that will:

“highlight “the workers in the resurgent American automotive and manufacturing sector now that the auto rescue has been completed and the decision to save the auto industry and the over one million jobs that went with it.”

Oddly, Ford was the one auto company in Detroit that wasn’t part of the government bailout, so that’s a bit ironic. And in yet another twist of irony he’ll be visiting a Ford plant that makes hybrids and electric vehicles that is currently closed down due to lack of interest:

The Ford plant he visits Wednesday makes fuel-efficient and alternative fuel small cars. Its workforce is on temporary hiatus because those vehicles are not selling well. In fact, trucks and SUVs outsold traditional cars in the U.S. in 2014.

As Marathon Pundit put it: “You have to wonder what the goofs at the White House are thinking.”

Heh. As if the goofs around here think about anything that isn’t included in their daily talking points memo.

Oh, and in one last touch of irony: check out the weather forecast in Detroit today. Frigid temperatures with wind chills in the deep negatives, compliments of the global warming hoax that spawned Big Guy’s anti-carbon dioxide plan that included his cap-and-trade scheme as well as the car companies development of alternate-fuel vehicles.

So good news Detroit! Global Warming is dead…and irony is alive!
