Maybe I’m misunderstanding something, but what’s the point of a Chaplin if he cannot talk faith? Might as well call him a “Guidance Counselor”.

Might as well call him a “Guidance Counselor”.I guess "chaplain" is one of those words that has lost its meaning, or has come to mean something else. "Tolerance" used to mean "the ability to tolerate or put up with something". Now it means "utter acceptance and validation of anything, no matter how odious or ridiculous or offensive".

Maybe I’m misunderstanding something, but what’s the point of a Chaplin if he cannot talk faith? My question is why is the chaplain giving a mandatory seminar on suicide prevention? Isn't that a topic for the medical branch to be dealing with?
