On the rare occasion I find myself in agreement with President Obama, I get nervous.
It just feels like a setup. Like someone's going to pull the rug out from under me at any moment.
But right now, I have to admit, I was very pleased to hear the news that the U.S. and Cuba are moving to normalize relations.

Yep. Troll.
Bingo.
so true
He was a Chicken-plucker when he came to New York, April 1959. Even VP Nixon saw through Fidel.
I was in Ft. Gordon at the time and all the Left wingers adored him.
I lost two friends at “The Bay of Pigs”, another Democrat POTUS screw job! Also some friends wounded and imprisoned. The said POTUS gave Fidel tractors for their release. ‘Curiouser and curiouser!

Gee, what a good idea.
Let’s support governments that sponsor terrorism.
Let’s support cleptocratic communism
Let’s support allies of Venezuela and Russia
Let’s support governments with huge human-rights violations
And let’s forget about the billions of assets that Fidel and Raul Castro stole from naturalized Cuban-Americans.
And when we’re done with that, let’s call the trade of an innocent American for three murderous Cuban spies a great deal. Now every American can feel safe that they won’t be kidnapped for use as a bargaining chip when they travel abroad!!!!

The article was written by a moron, and you’re a moron to agree with it.
WHAT does CUBA have to offer us other than cigars and sugar?
If you ask actual Cubans about Castro they say...he’s a good man with some bad ideas.
I would not be against normalization except that it is by this guy without any input from Congress. Somehow this is going to hurt the USA real bad. Obama wouldn’t do it were there not some harm to US involved. There is some other agreement here that we have not heard about. Or perhaps this is a stepping stone to “normalization” with Iran and then North Korea.
What more? I'll tell you what more.
I expect that this is a trial run for the following scenario:
The Chinese bear down on US for our outstanding debt.
The Russians, pushed to the brink of collapse by our economic crude oil war take us to (or over) the nuclear brink.
The Usurper capitulates to Russia in return for a Russian directed takeover of the US with You-Know-Who as the "Provincial Governor."
And then we play "Sons of Liberty" all over again.
What a shame.
Excellent point.
The rest of the world trades with Cuba.
“Continuing the Cuba embargo is not only a huge waste of taxpayer dollars, but it’s unethical and not aligned with conservative values.”
Recognizing and giving legitimacy to the anti-American, brutal, thug dictatorship that runs Cuba is truly stupid.
The Cuban government is a brutal, police state runs by a small group who assist terrorism and undermine legitimate governments. They rule entirely by fear and are hated by most Cubans.
Learn something about the topic. Talk to Cuban Americans and their families who have left Cuba.
Isolating Cuba did not cost taxpayer dollars. It saved taxpayer dollars by limiting the opportunities the Cuban government had to promote violence and destruction.
The Cuban government is violent and evil. They have no values whatsoever. Recognizing them and giving them legitimacy is not “aligned with conservative values” to use your phrase.
Hey, stop writing my posts before I get a chance to.
IATZ! May the burn hurt.
Whats for dinner?
“Crispy” Libertarian.
Saudi Arabia.
Calling it a "Monarchy" doesn't cover up the fact that it is a Dictatorship.
It doesn't matter how "benevolent" that Dictatorship is. A Dictatorship is a Dictatorship!
