The Great Renewable Energy Rip-Off

The EPA is not protecting anyone’s health. It is forcing them to pay more for what should be the most traditional and affordable sources of electricity in the world

One of the lesser known attempts to prove that renewable energy, wind and solar power, can replace traditional energy sources—coal, oil, and natural gas—went belly up in much the same way current wind and solar companies depend on tapping the taxpayer for government subsidies in order to stay in business. Google’s Renewable Energy Cheaper than Coal initiative begun in 2007 and shut down four years later.

Two members of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Ross Koningstein and David Fork, worked on the project. Both men have excellent credentials in aerospace engineering and applied physicals, respectively, but neither had a clue about climatology. Expertise in one field rarely translates to another unless it is closely allied.

Regarding the EPA, please note the following. Not only have the states never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate intrastate environmental issues, but consider this. The Founding States had made the first numbered clauses in the Constitution, Sections 1-3 of Article I, to clarify that all federal legislative powers are vested in the elected members of Congress, not in the executive or judicial branches, or in the non-elected bureaucrats running the constitutionally undefined EPA.

So even if the states had delegated to the feds the power to regulate intrastate environmental issues, Congress cannot delegate such powers to third parties. And by doing so, corrupt Congress is wrongly protecting federal legislative / regulatory powers from the wrath of the voters in blatant defiance of Sections 1-3 referenced above.

The Federal Government is totally out of control and much of America has been destroyed by the likes of the committees like the EPA.

”… much of America has been destroyed by the likes of the committees like the EPA."

The real problem with America sadly, and imo, is the following. Many generations of parents have not been making sure that their children are being taught about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers. And the consequence of citizens not knowing about the fed’s limited powers is that even patriots are helping to unconstitutionally expand the federal governments power. Clueless patriots do so by trading their votes to corrupt federal politicians who promise citizens federal spending programs and regulations that are actually constitutionally indefensible.

The reason the Left supports “renewable energy” is that they support NO energy usage (by the masses).

If any “renewable” actually became viable and affordable to the point that it actually INCREASED general energy usage, they’d oppose it.

Now, the sheeperal have other motivations - they want the self-righteous feeling they get for “caring about the erf”.
