Good God... Could the writer have possibly made that any MORE ‘wordy’?
Damn....
I’m not even sure what his point was.
“Hume, incidentally, made clear that he has the lowest possible opinion of Cruz and the Tea Party.”
File that away for the future.
The GOPe open-border Quislings are cowards and sellouts.
“Hume, incidentally, made clear that he has the lowest possible opinion of Cruz and the Tea Party.)”
That’s ok, I have the lowest possible opinion of Hume. FUBH. Hound dog looking goober!
Our Founders would be so proud of Hume.

Let’s just take our ball and go home.
Not.

Mods, this is from someone associated with Marin County.
Isn’t there some rule about Waffling while in Marin Co.?
If the Republicans DON’T Fight back now, then all is lost. When you win as big as they did a few weeks ago, you know that the people are upset and want something done, now.
We have political eunuchs in Boehner and McConnell, but they need to be challenged and painted as cowards and do-nothings.
Blood must follow in order to purge the body of its impurities. I’m hoping that Cruz and Sessions and Gomer, etc. lead a charge that will put B & McC on their political asses, as in “There’s a new sheriff in town, guys, and he isn’t you”.
Take off the velvet gloves and put on some mail ones. Then use them to introduce yourself to the eunuchs. Once the message is properly delivered, it will be time to get down and deal with America’s greatest enemy -Obama/Democrats.
Take no prisoners. Suffer no fools. Never retreat, never surrender.
It is time for war and the first thing you do is to secure the “homefront”, be it in your own party or country. No time for cowardly RINOS and political hacks. No “sunshine patriots” or backroom backstabbers.
Time to lock, load and attack anyone who stands in the way of saving America from Comrade Obama and his Good German Dems/Liberals.
I thought Hume was more intelligent than that. Well, you learn something new every day, I guess.
Put another way, sometimes strategic retreat is the best way to win a long war.
Actually, very seldom.
Indirect approach wins wars.
I agree the Republicans are in a box of Obama’s making. However Obama is counting on the American people to do nothing. I’m not sure that will be the case. What will Obama do if millions of ordinary Americans gather at the White House and millions more gather at state capitals and federal buildings all shouting for his resignation? Would Obama like King George order the rebels to disperse at the point of a bayonet? We could well be looking at the start of another American revolution.
She lost me with her praise of “Pickpocket Pete” Wilson. I have been a California Republican, since my arrival here, in 1981. No one has damaged the brand, and done more to destroy the GOP, here, IMHO, than Wilson.
Thank you for allowing me to vent.
So Hume is either clueless about the federal governments constitutionally limited powers, particularly Section 8 of Article I, or has been indoctrinated to ignore Section 8.
Well the PRI may think they are very smart but they know *nothing* about etiquette.
Their list of sponsors is all wrong. When listing the names of married donors the given name of the female comes first, followed by the given name of the male and then the last name of the couple. e.g.,
Emily and Thomas Smith.
For those of you in Rio Linda, Emily’s name comes first.
The first and last name of the male is never separated.
These people obviously never had grandmothers with etiquette books.
Hume said he was pro-immigration reform months ago, on Fox News.
I wish I’d saved myself the wade through the breathless descriptions of “galas” and “exquisite” food.
I voted for Mitt.
The religious lesser of two evils argument has resulted in Angela Davis’s vision for America to be carried out.
I was Hume’s finance manager at a Lexus dealership back in the 90’s. He traded in a old beat up Mercedes 300D for an ES300. He was a very cold fish through the process. He wrote a check for the car...as he looked down his nose at me.
Hume is for amnesty.
That's because the last time they tried impeachment, they went after a lie Clinton told vs. Chinagate. The reason they ignored Chinagate is because they, too, were involved up their eyeballs in illegal campaign contributions.
Republicans are therefore left with only two courses of action: They can appeal to their base without which they cannot survive politically and act aggressively by passing bills, withholding money, bringing an impeachment vote in the House, and suing.
In other words, the Republicans can stand up and act like men or they can cower in the corner like mice...
Any guesses about which course the Congressional Republicans will take? </sarcasm>
