It is deeply unfortunate that so many clueless voters are out there.

Yes, and it is also unfortunate that many FReepers have been unable to remember that in S.C., because of the same practices (State primary laws) than kept Strom Thurmand and now Lindsey Graham in office have not been modified significently enough to make a difference.

Meaning, as has been posted scores of times on FR over the years, incumbents that have the approval of the S.C. Unity Party leaders (SCGOPe-Dem) CANNOT be unseated for the same reasons SC FReepers have posted repeatedly on FR.

South Carolina Statewide and National offices cannot be influenced enough by SC conservatives to go against the SCGOPe-Democrat tandem and make significent enough changes in the laws that rule primaries in this State.

Complaining about how the deck is stacked against conservatives in SC and in other States that have similar unfair primary laws, will produce nothing more than an observation that complaining FReepers are unwilling to pay attention and to learn.

But, I admit, it is easier just to blame this situation on "clueless voters" when the ones posting such on FR choose to remain clueless themselves year after year.

The clueless voters are in several parties, not just the ‘Rs.’
