I agree. He looks like a 10 year old who cannot tie his shoe laces! Watching him in China I got the impression he was out of his league and had no idea what he was doing there.

We should. This is more evidence to put the lie to Obama’s campaign promises on foreign relations - that the liberals bought, hook line and sinker. This is something we can use to grind their noses in, over and over.
Never mind that he is an idiot, but most idiots have enough sense to surround themselves with people who are NOT idiots. Good managers and leaders also do this. Inept, clueless, insecure managers surround themselves with inferiors. Good managers surround themselves with people who have the skills and talents that they lack.
The entire administration has this problem. No one expected Hillary Clinton to translate the “reset” button herself properly (Condoleeza Rice could have done this, though). But apparently her handlers were unable to find a single person in the entire State department capable of translating Russian - or, they just Googled it.

Never mind world leaders - would you do this when meeting a prospective business client? If so, you would probably do it only once.

Indeed, totally classless. Tacky and even downright unmanly as well. Not the kind of comportment befitting a leader, to put it mildly. He might have just as well gotten up on stage and scratched his crotch in front of everybody.
I don’t care, per se, that the Chinese were offended. But this is the kind of action that puts on display throughout the world that the United States is no longer a serious country. A serious country would not have such a pathetic individual as its leader. We have fully “earned” the disrespect we receive.
Or did he stick it behind his ear to be chewed at a later date.
