I saw it in a theater when I was about 11 years old.
I have a very fine leather-bound edition of the stories, but I wish the movie was available on DVD - or even VHS tape.

It was released on 12” laser disk back in the late 70s or very early 80s. There used to be a fellow on ebay who would sell a copy from his laser disk in the correct format (all the ones on ebay now are in PAL format which will not play on US VCRs). I guess that Disney finally made him stop.
Available on dvd out of Europe ... just sayin
Have owned a VHS copy for about 10 years or so by now.
It was produced for UK audiences i think , because the intro was heavy Brit accent. All of our kids enjoyed it.
Look around on the net to find a copy, should not be much of a problem. Disney is heavy handed with copyrights (try to find Disney needlepoint!) but they are probably too embarrassed to try to stop the distribution of this movie.
