The United States is being infected by Chagas, a deadly disease spread by the feces of a parasite nicknamed the 'kissing bug'. It bites sleeping victims, ingests the blood and defecates on them; patients then unknowingly rub the feces into open membranes.

Uh oh, I forsee some hideous photo shop possibilities.
Sounds like what government does to sheeple.
I hope he dreams of one of these in his bed every night!!!
Illegals have it made here. No insurances, govt. benes, wads of cash from working for cash only or cashing all their checks in other SS#, etc. I am sure they love it when we sing proudly about the land of the freeee, haa!
Chagas has a smaller than 5% fatality rate, and even that is almost certainly overblown.

News outlets certainly do love to blow things out of proportion, don’t they?
I’ve seen these bugs around my entire life. Never heard of this until earlier this year.
Media hype.
Twenty years ago when I worked in rural areas of South America, Chagas disease was a serious concern.
I can imagine it would be in those parts.
It is entirely possible that you have seen the bugs. It is also entirely possible that the bugs have not seen the parasite until brought here by our millions of illegal border bounders. It is also quite possible that with the parasite becoming established in North American wild animals, that the 'kissing bug' will not remain the only vector. To top it off, insect bites are not the only way this disease can be transmitted.
Media hype. News outlets certainly do love to blow things out of proportion, dont they?
Yeah, a bit of hype, But, and it's big BUTT, this disease often goes undiagnosed and untreated. It eventually kills people, who are then reported of dieing of something else, like heart or kidney disease. This is a very serious disease and requires a Doc that knows something about it. Remember how long the chancre mechanics took to catch on about Lyme Disease .... or for that matter, to accept the Germ Theory?
Back when I was in South America, very little research had been done on Chagas disease simply because it was a disease of the rural poor and almost no one in the metropolitan areas were affected. We were told that the Chagas beetle lived in the thatched roofs of these poor rural population’s huts, so don’t sleep in those huts.
We were also told that a person with Chagas disease couldn’t pass the disease to another person unless the disease first passing through the Chagas beetle. The Chagas beetle had to feed on a person with Chagas disease, the diseased person’s blood was then changed in the Chagas beetle’s digestive system into a form that could infect humans, and this was then passed to another person when the Chagas beetle defecated on him.
If you’ve been seeing these beetles in Texas for many years now and they never caused any problems for you, it’s probably because these beetles hadn’t fed on a person with Chagas disease. With the current flood of illegal aliens, and many of them carrying Chagas, that’s going to change.
There was a woman on Hannity radio talking about this, saying the fatality rate was higher, it was a sister virus to ebola, and was very painful. It comes from Latin America.
Very good points.
Chagas Disease ping...
Whew. not like that Spanish Flu that killed 2.5%...
How many of those affected are actually Americans?
That 5% fatality rate is wrong, and the real issue is this is a parasite that affects the heart....World Health Org statistics and info:

There was an article last week said they suspected 300,000 Americans were infected. Food prep is one way so be careful about where you buy your food and who prepares it.
I submit that the majority of those infected in the US currently are illegals who were infected at home and brought the disease here.
