Hence, after his party’s second midterm “shellacking” that term will no longer be acceptable, given its inherent racist overtones.

So here are the new rules of our non-functioning democracy: you get a voice if you cast a ballot, butt you get a LOUDER voice if you don’t bother to vote.

Odd he would choose to channel an old dead white guy – the only other sitting President who listened to the vast silent majority. Although in Nixon’s case they became far less silent over time.

There is some “stuff” that those who did bother to vote don’t want him to get done; like amnesty. Even Chris Matthews seems to have figured that out. (Even if you have sworn to never,ever watch anyone on MSNBC, this is worth an exception –yes, all the way to the end.)
It’s particularly ironic that Barry would choose to cite the Silent Majority now, when up till this point he’s marched exclusively to a couple of very loud, very vocal minorities.
So here are the new rules: If you lose I win, and if you win I win too! Just like in middle school.
So stop whining and get out of the way of my pen and my phone; I’m not through winning yet.

Haven’t we heard such flatulence from dictators who claimed a “mandate” from the “silent majority”, say, old Adolph and Il Deuce?

Watch for the Dems to start pushing for laws to make voting MANDATORY, as is done in Australia. They are already floating trial balloons out there.

If only 1/3 of those eligible voted and you failed to secure half of those votes, that means your supporters number LESS THAN ONE SIXTH of those eligible Americans!
The notion that the 2/3’s who didn’t vote speak with a single message is pure nonsense.

Obama himself has said that those who took their ball and went home after the primaries are with Obama.
He does not get it. His approval rating is 39% among those that did not vote too.
When even Chris Mathews says that Obama is being unreasonable, you know he's in trouble.

Since Barry is acting the the behalf of the two thirds who did not vote, the non voter seems to be the ones with the power.
He has a 99% approval rating among the cartoon forest creatures and garden moles.
