Time to completely overhaul our election process.

How about something like this.......You are issued a government assigned “card” (similar to a credit card), insert it into a card reader which reads and records YOUR ID number, you are either approved or not, if approved, you cast your ballot. You have voted ONCE with that card. Yes, there needs to be a way to protect from obtaining multiple cards and I have not yet worked that one out.......Anyone have any good ideas? Having multiple cards seems to be the biggest hurdle.

No new system is any good without first checking if all those registered to vote are US citizens. Here in WA state no proof of citizenship required to register. A driver’s license is NOT proof of citizenship. Only a birth certificate, or the certificate of naturalized citizenship is.

I think the social security number can serve as ID number but one does not have to be a citizen to acquire social security number. I got mine while on my student visa!
