Evangelical Environmental Network, a ministry “dedicated to the care of God’s creation,” Wednesday will start running statewide ads on Christian radio stations urging state leaders to take action on climate change.
Along with the ad, which you can be heard here[see linky below], the group is organizing events across the sate starting Wednesday, including a tele-town hall, a prayer breakfast in Jacksonville, and a Miami event Thursday focused on climate change’s impact “particularly on Hispanic communities.”
A group spokesman would not say how much the group is spending on the ads, but said it was “six-figures.” In May, the group delivered 60,000 signatures to Gov. Rick Scott urging him to do more on climate change.
“Climate change is the greatest moral threat of our time. Unfortunately for far too long, we’ve allowed partisanship to guide our response instead of the Bible,” Rev. Mitch Hescox, the group’s president, said in a statement. “Climate change is real and in the United States, Florida is the most at risk.”

Some Protestant churches have had Bible studies reinterpreting the Bible to accommodate homosexual clergy and homo marriage. Where’s the surprise that the same strategy could be used to accommodate totalitarianism in the name of the earth?

I heard the ad yesterday and that was exactly my first though as well.
I’ve had problems finding anything other than just surface info on the founders. They are not very upfront with anything. I think their real ‘ministry’ is in misleading biblically ignorant Christians. I’ve heard their ads on the radio and all it does is raise my evangelical hackles.

Sounds like they missed the points made in the Bible. Only God can make things right.
One pillar of any economy is natural resources, including hydrocarbons, water and land, among others. The commies are undermining these through environmental regulation.
I find this Evangelical Environmental Network is insidious and utterly contemptible. They twist the writings of the Bible to fit their twisted political agenda. The first lie told in the world by Satan, in the garden, was about the Word of God.
I truly believe that God has shielded their eyes from the Truth because of their unrepentant rebellion.

We are entering a period of rapid climate change, it is undeniable.
It was far colder this week than it was last week.
I suggest everyone do preventive maintenance on their heating systems now, before the climate change gets really bad. That is action that needs to be done!
