I was thinking along the same lines when I watched today the surveillance video of the Ottawa gunman stopping his car, and getting put with the rifle.
Instant reaction from the pedestrians was to run like hell.
They evidently sized up the guy real quick. No problem with that.
But what if just one had a CCW?
The good thing is that the gunman was dropped by the courageous sergeant-at-arms(how apt a title is that?!) before he could kill anyone else.

Really? You think it’s wise to open fire, even if your are trying to protect someone, around a bunch of cops?
I’m guessing they would have shot her too.
