On CNN Tuesday night, activist and former Obama green jobs czar Van Jones and television and radio host and author of "Hands Off My Gun" Dana Loesch discussed the latest Palin-bashing extravaganza the media is currently wallowing in. During the festivities, Van Jones let it slip that maybe Sarah Palin wasn't as dumb and worthless as Democrats have tried to paint her for every second of every day since the moment she took the national stage. He opined:
Sarah Palin .. people forget. She had the Democratic party shaking in our boots in 2008. She came out, she gave that speech at the convention. That was, hands down, one of the best convention speeches - not by a woman, by anybody in 2008. People were running for the hills.
Loesch immediately pointed out that the narrative in 2008 was that Palin was too dumb to be considered for office, and that the conventional wisdom everyone was supposed to buy, that she brought the ticket down, didn't match Van Jones' characterization. But Van Jones had an explanation for that. They were just liars.
"Now it can be told! Now it can be told! We were scared!"
It's the second time this week that Democrats have said in public that they lie to get elected. But you can totally trust them once they're in office.

I don’t know how people cannot know liberals are liars. They say there is no absolute truth and no absolute morality. So, they think there is no truth. So lies come naturally. And if there is no morality, then lie, even if it were possible to tell a nontruth, there would be nothing wrong with it.
Marx did not believe in right or wrong, but only class interest. If it advances the cause, then it is good and true. Always assume that leftists are only saying what advance their agenda. It’s part of their doctrine.

Exactly. My memory is very clear on this. Palin stunned everyone with her speech and charisma. She absolutely electrified the country, especially Conservatives.
At the time it was patently clear that Democrats were filled with abject fear. They were speechless, shocked, stammering for a response because they knew she was an instant star and absolutely connected with America.
It was also abundantly clear as the weeks went on that Palin began to eclipse the doddering old McCain. And that freaked out the GOPe. Here was a charismatic superstar in the making who was electrifying the base. Recall that before Palin, McCain was barely treading water. No one really like this warmed over bowl of porridge -- and then came Palin. Palin instantly changed the dynamics of the race, and yes this freaked out both Democrats and the GOP-e.
Well, duh.
When the Media Minion Mouths launch a full on frontal attack, you know they heard truth.
Of course they were scared. That’s exactly why they went into character assassination mode.
Hmmmm ..?? Funny thing, I was just saying the other day that the reason the left piles on Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz is because they are afraid of them.

The left will always tell you who they’re afraid of by the way they treat people .. or they will tell you what they’re doing .. by what they accuse the right of doing (but the right’s not doing - i.e., the war on women). Simple!! Learn it, love it.

Of course they were scared... the Dems, the media, and the GOP-E. That’s why they all worked together to totally assassinate her character, trash her family, and drive her from office. Nothing scares the ruling-class elites more than seeing the kind of populist-conservative grassfire take hold out in mid-america, threatening their crony gravy-train, and that’s exactly what Palin was tapping in to and energizing.
The GOP-E’s vile accomodation and even participation in this completely altered my lifelong view of the Republican Party. No longer have any faith, trust or respect for the GOP. And changed my voting habits accordingly.
