Do they really believe that the rest of the world gives a rat's heinie about them? What is Sanford, Florida doing for Halloween? Or Newtown, Connecticut? Or Dallas, Texas, site of the Obola infections? Or a million other towns? Get over yourselves! Get a job!

They're doing it to keep from having to open doors to strangers, and to keep their kids off the streets after dark. Not a "hey look at me" thing at all, they're trying to avoid problems:
Former Ferguson mayor Brian Fletcher, the group's chairman, said he was asked by parents to organize an activity that would replace trick-or-treating for families who didn't want their children to walk outside after dark, or to even open their doors to strangers.

So they think a Pumpkin Walk will keep their thugs from destroying what’s left of this pathetic town on Halloween. Good luck with that.

I’d recommend any businesses there close shop, pack up and let al sharpton and Jesse Jackson pull an economy out of their collectives arses.

Ferguson IS an alternate Halloween celebration. Complete with zombies in costume, vampires and other bloodsuckers, and no few demons scurrying about spreading their contagion.
If they’re missing some witches, I hear Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Moochelle are available for parties. You supply the cauldron.

A “Pumpkin Walk”? Is that something designed to be “empowering?”
How about this: the savage mob manages to control itself long enough for kids to trick or treat.

A wise move on the part of the parents that want to keep their children safe and still have some fun.
Hopefully, the afro-vigilantes don’t show up to spoil the fun.
