ORLANDO -- A passenger who became ill with Ebola like symptoms on a flight from Houston to Orlando was isolated and removed from the plane Monday.
Orlando International Airport officials said the passenger was on Southwest Airlines flight #718 and became ill. The flight crew spoke with the passenger who told them he had traveled to West Africa at the end of August....

It gets scary if there is another one this soon.
This is getting ridiculous. Why are people who have been in high-risk areas able to fly around endangering our population? Our PC society is going to continue to destroy us.
This is all like watching a slow motion train derailment....
Going to Disney World?
The passenger was immediately given a job working on the ventilation system for the 808-bed Orlando Regional Medical Center.
I am beginning to wonder if it is far too late to close down air travel from that region. They cleared the daughter of Patient Zero to return to work as a pediatric nurse after about a week, not the 21 days normally used as a quarantine period.
Anything else would have been racist and discriminatory. If I had a child in there or scheduled to go there, though...
Oh joy. My daughter started work as an ICU nurse at the area’s largest hospital just this morning!
The passengers on these planes where a sick person gets greeted and carted out by people in hazmat suits are going to get fed up with it. Maybe it will reach critical mass but then it will probably be too late.
It’s a small world after all, It’s a small world after all, It’s a small world after all, It’s a small, small world.

Remarkably, at the end of the article it says the potential carrier of O’Bola was released to the general public. Just as President O’Bola wants, part of his “assessing and reassessing” the safety measures he has in place. Not to worry, we have Barry Soetoro to guard our safety.
The passenger was in Africa at the end of August? If this is a case of Ebola, the incubation period just expanded way beyond 21 days.
If he was there at the end of August (and it’s verifiable from his passport) he’s in the clear.
Too long. Not ebola.
But clearly people are anxious
Did he return from Africa alone? Did another person come back, too, and die? You do have to think of all the possibilities because these people lie. You would think they would seek treatment, so it is probably safe to assume that the person is ill with something else.
I was reading some posts of relatives in another state this morning. They have a puking virus. Great timing for a puke virus to go around. :(
Oh, I read it as he was released the day he was taken off the plane...well then, “never mind” (Emily Littella).
