Thanks for posting this. Finally someone is identifying the elephant in the room. The entire electronic record keeping effort has been one huge failure foisted unto the medical profession.

This was predicted even before the idiots started to roll out the mandates.

One other thing. Thanks to idiot mandates every time a patient gets seen in the ER the nurses spend an inordinate amount of time asking questions NOT PERTINENT to the visit. They are mandated to ask about things like domestic violence, living conditions, nutrition, falls, some states ask about weapons, vaccines, mammograms, Pap smears, it goes on and on. Then they have to enter it all in the stupid clumsy EMRs. Important information gets overlooked or lost in the noise......
