The ugly history of the Democrat Party Part Four

Chapter Two: Democrat Presidents before the Civil War ANDREW JACKSON 1828 to 1836

For many years the Democrat Party has presented itself as the common man’s Party. We have heard that the Democrats are for the little guy and always have been since the election of Andrew Jackson in 1828.

As the tall tale goes, “Old Hickory” as Jackson was called, was a “man’s man” who stood for the principles set down by America’s Founding Fathers. In fact he actually had a legitimate claim to being part of the American Revolution; he was a member of the Continental Army as a 13 year old messenger who was captured and mistreated by the British.

What a great story! What a great man! What a great patriot! If only some of this was true, Jackson would be half the man that today’s duplicitous Democrats make him out to be.

The real and forgotten story of “Old Hickory” is far more important than the fairy tales told about him at Democrat fundraisers.

The truth is that Andrew Jackson was a product of the treasonous Aaron Burr’s corrupt political machine which grew into the Democrat Party “in the 1820’s.”

N.B. Unlike the Republican Party which has an exact starting date, (March 20, 1854) even careful research cannot pin down an exact founding date for the Democrat Party. As with its current leader, the Democrat Party seems to have no definitive birth certificate.

Why no exact starting date for the Democrat Party can be found is...

Tyranny naturally arises out of democracy.
-Plato

What is democracy? Ayn Rand answers that question.

http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/democracy.html
“Democratic” in its original meaning [refers to] unlimited majority rule . . . a social system in which one’s work, one’s property, one’s mind, and one’s life are at the mercy of any gang that may muster the vote of a majority at any moment for any purpose.

If we discard morality and substitute for it the Collectivist doctrine of unlimited majority rule, if we accept the idea that a majority may do anything it pleases, and that anything done by a majority is right because it’s done by a majority (this being the only standard of right and wrong)—how are men to apply this in practice to their actual lives? Who is the majority? In relation to each particular man, all other men are potential members of that majority which may destroy him at its pleasure at any moment. Then each man and all men become enemies; each has to fear and suspect all; each must try to rob and murder first, before he is robbed and murdered.

The American system is not a democracy. It is a constitutional republic. A democracy, if you attach meaning to terms, is a system of unlimited majority rule; the classic example is ancient Athens. And the symbol of it is the fate of Socrates, who was put to death legally, because the majority didn’t like what he was saying, although he had initiated no force and had violated no one’s rights.

Democracy, in short, is a form of collectivism, which denies individual rights: the majority can do whatever it wants with no restrictions. In principle, the democratic government is all-powerful. Democracy is a totalitarian manifestation; it is not a form of freedom . . . .

The American system is a constitutionally limited republic, restricted to the protection of individual rights. In such a system, majority rule is applicable only to lesser details, such as the selection of certain personnel. But the majority has no say over the basic principles governing the government. It has no power to ask for or gain the infringement of individual rights.

Time to stop thinking of Democrat-ism as merely a "political party"......

It's the party of slavery, servitude, segregation, secularism, and sedition. Not just the party of scalawags like Aaron Burr, Boss Tweed, Richard J. Croker, Bull Connor, Chris Dodd, Richard Daley, Bill Ayers, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, and Chicago kingpin Obama.

It's a criminal combine----and hot bed of conspiracy to undermine US ntl security----Kendall “Agent 202” Myers, the Carter-era State Department official recruited as a Cuban spy along with his wife.

The Democratic Party shows its true colors over and over again------as a criminal organization masquerading as a political party.

==========================================================

Astute conservatives have known from the getgo--- Dummycrat-ism is not even a coherent party....just a collection of hyphenates, hacks, hooligans, schemers and govt looters.....aided and abetted by an expedient alliance of special interest groups who finance the schemers....all of them gorging at the public trough.

Seems to me that the democrats have simply rebranded the same old product 3 or 4 times over the last 200 years.

Democrats like to name cutoff points where the party has changed over the years but its always a thin coat of paint on the same old whorehouse.

The pro slavery democrats gave way to Woodrow Wilson and the pro klan democrats who gave way to LBJ and the new plantation democrats.

Ask any Obama voter which party freed the slaves, answer: Democrats!

Its because they rely on an old slavery tactic of keeping the slaves ignorant and afraid.

After all, it wasn't fences or force of arms that held slaves on the plantations, it was ignorance and fear the same as the democrats are doing today.
