I had exactly the same observations while spending a month in Ghana.
There is no place on earth in which black people are as free and prosperous as they are in the US. Certainly no place in Africa.
Perform equally and the market will pay you and advance you equally.
Be a sniveling Affirmative Action hire and reap what you deserve.
Go to any Ivy football game. Before the game the white families are all tailgating. After the game, on the other side of the stadium, you’ll find all the black students, grouped together partying. Not whites. All blacks.
Seems I read somewhere that the first thing you notice when you arrive in Africa is the flies and the smell. What kind of smell? (Honest question)
Many moons ago, I was at San Francisco State University. I had so much fun making up my own politically incorrect posters & signs. I would get to class very early & place the poster in a walkway with a lot of traffic. I would then watch as the liberal wacko students would react. One of the most ‘controversial’ of my posters read: White Men Can’t Jump & Black Men Can’t Add. Ooohhhhh how it drove them crazy. Remarks like ‘that should not be allowed’ were often heard. The most ‘liberal’ of the commenters tried to tear all of them down.
Human waste is probably the the most prevalent smell with jungle rot second depending on where you are.
Have you ever noticed that foreign relief workers in Africa are almost always white?
Hopefully, just garbage and sewage.
Why not? Let's start with admissions.
The article mentioned unarmed black men Eric Garner, Michael Brown, and Ezell Ford.
I did a search for Carey and found no mention of her in the article.
If they truly care and are not just building experience to have a career in the race-grievance industry why don't they care about Ms Carey?
For that matter.. what about the kid answering a knock on the door and was shot to death by a policewoman thinking the computer game device he had in his hand was a gun?
.. the old man and wife stopped by a highway policeman and as the old man exited his pickup he reached in the back to get his cane. The policeman shot him thinking the cane was a rifle.
Racial Equality? Oh, so will they accept the athletic teams to be 75% white? When will they stop acting like savages?
Panther Whizz? Really?? No thanks...
Back in the day I did a lot of traveling to several African countries, and I have to say that I don’t remember a lot of repulsive odors at airports. In the cities, however, that’s another story. Lagos, Nigeria, was the worst by far. Salisbury, Rhodesia, was the most like the U.S. ((I use the old names. Mugabe has ruined what was once a wonderful country.))
What about being swarmed with flies? (Read that) Thanks
Human waste..gag. What’s jungle rot?
From the link.
Provides data on the circumstances of deaths that occur during, or shortly after, state or local law enforcement officers engage in an arrest or restraint process. Data from the Arrest-Related Deaths (ARD) component of the Deaths in Custody Reporting Program (DCRP) represent a national accounting of persons who have died during the process of arrest from 2003 through 2009. The ARD program includes homicides by law enforcement personnel as well as deaths attributed to suicide, intoxication, accidental injury, and natural causes. Data collected include information about the date of death, manner and cause of death, the decedent's demographic characteristics, the decedent's behavior during the events leading up to the death, and the tactics and weapons used by law enforcement personnel.
Highlights:
- A total of 4,813 deaths were reported to the Arrest-Related Deaths program from January 2003 through December 2009.
- Of reported arrest-related deaths, 61% (2,931) were classified as homicides by law enforcement personnel, 11% (541) were suicides, 11% (525) were due to intoxication, 6% (272) were accidental injuries, and 5% (244) were attributed to natural causes.
- State and local law enforcement agencies employing 100 or more full-time sworn personnel accounted for 75% of the 4,813 arrest-related deaths reported during 2003-2009.
- Among reported arrest-related deaths, 42% of persons were white, 32% were black, and 20% were Hispanic.
My emphasis.
It appears that there are no specific statistics on the question did the officer "murder" the suspect. I've just started this search and have not seen the tables mentioned here. As long as I do not have to pay anything I'll keep looking.
Maybe they should hire a PR person....
What they need is one of these shootings to include a unarmed black guy that has no record, that doesn’t have video of him robbing and assaulting people.
In Egypt two smells: dust and poverty. I smelled that same smell of poverty all over the world, starting in Mexico.
In Kenya, the cities were poor, black and miserable. The Brits settled a lot of Kenya so the game parks were fabulous. All very manicured and clean. The game parks are the SOURCE of Kenya's money so they make SURE that they are BEAUTIFULLY kept.
There were no flies in the sun ANYWHERE there as it was way too hot for them. In the shade, many flies. But we all wore the most bodacious bug repellent we could and the flies did NOT like it so we were good to go.
The filthiest country we ever visited was China. I had THOUGHT that Mexico was the filthiest until we went to the middle east.
Then I thought that the middle east was the worst until we went to India. HORRIBLE.
I thought India was the VERY worst until we went to China. CHINA won the filthy award HANDS DOWN. I kind of believed all the Chinese P.R. about how advanced they were getting...until we went there. Lord have mercy.
I got swarmed by flies in Djibouti. I won’t forget that anytime soon.
