The man attempting the robbery appears to have a pistol gripped shotgun of unknown make. In the video, it is clear that he hides the shotgun until he starts to attempt the robbery.
In the narrative, it is unclear exactly what happens next, whether the father pulls out a gun and tells the robber to leave after the daughter is threatened, or whether the father hands the gun to the 20 year old son, or whether the son takes the gun from the father, and then shoots the robber.
It seems most likely that the father handed the handgun to the son, who then shoots the robber.
"It was not wrong, because I was protecting my family."Here is the link to the video.
The thief made the mistake many do, they think that waving around a shotgun will scare people enough on its own. It only works in the victim doesn’t have ‘stones’. This guy a man size pair.
What else is a father and brother supposed to do? Good work guys, the feel good story of the day.
Well done, son. Well done.
Well done.
Good ending.
That store looks like a fort or a prison. Must be a nice neighborhood.
Thanks for posting. If the thug had fired that shotgun one-handed from a pistol grip, I doubt it would have remained in his hands.
They have fencing outside for tables.
You’re right, not the greatest neighborhood.
Disgusting.
This was a good kid that just was making a mistake.
they should have let him have the money, because it is a social justice matter. He was going to major in ethics next year and needed guidance and understanding, not this barbaric attack by this gun nut tea-bagger bigot!
And if we had better gun laws, this would have not happened.
Sleep well, gentle giant. We will march until justice is done for you!!!!!!!!!!111!!11!!!!!j!
I’m not picturing having a real pleasant lunch there for some reason.
My brother, while I certainly support and agree with your heartfelt sentiments, I must, must I say, ask that you please fully complete the standard FR Post Forms on Urban Interaction before hitting "Post." OK?
E.G., When does the looting start? I need a new TV for my crib.
Where are we to pick up the signage for the demonstrations?
What is The Reverend Al Sharpton's Cell Phone Number?
How do I reach Lawyer Crump?
why didn't you link to the the Molotov Cocktail Assembly video?
Have you notified the Grandmother and prepared her with the "Good Boy turning his life around" script?
Do not become discouraged. Your work does show promise and my company, St. Trayvon Memorabilia, will send you a hoodie. Can't wait to hear from you next time. Scheduled for a quiet weekend in Chicago, October 12th.
It all depends on what you are used to. Folks live and work on that street. They are not all thugs.
Just because a black man wearing a black hoodie is pointing a black shotgun at you and demanding all your money is not a reason to shoot him. That’s racial profiling.
I didn’t see any recoil. He was shooting one handed. My CZ-75B is a heavy nine milimeter and still has a significant recoil one handed. Was that some kind of target 22?
The store owner shot the creep several times. The left calls that excessive use of force. I call it self-preservation. Good shooting.
I’m sure they are not.
For the defender, I can only....
clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap.
I have been in a convenience store in Houston where the clerk was behind bullet proof glass. This store was about 2 blocks from a police station.
The young man needs to have some good instruction at a good range by a professional. One handed side ways is not the way to handle a hand gun. I have been on the range many times when people that didn’t know what they were doing were shooting. That is always Police day as the general public is safer.
