I decided to run for the United States Senate to represent Kansas as an Independent because I know that Washington is broken. Were sending the worst of both parties to Washington and we know it.
For too long, weve elected politicians who continue this broken system that caters to special interests and the extremists in their own parties rather than solving problems of the people who elect them. Unfortunately all thats led to is a Congress that cant get anything done. (SNIP)
Finally, our policy must also be fair to taxpayers. The 11 million undocumented individuals in America should be required to register with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) by a certain date, pay a fine or perform community service as an acknowledgment that theyve broken the law, hold down a job, pay taxes, and obey our laws, and ultimately, at that point, if they want to get in line and apply for citizenship, they should be able to do so. Once weve done that, we should fully implement the e-verify system and hold employers accountable for hiring undocumented workers who have not registered with ICE.

Roberts is better than Boehner, McConnell, Lynn Jenkins, and Pompeo(pals around with Lankford and Susan Brooks talking amnesty with Politico).
Gee, where have i heard that clarion call before ?
Ugh, don’t remind us about Lankford. Man, did Okalahoma pick a Thom Tillis wannabe
The article at this link indicates that Orman is a “former Democrat” which we all know means he is still a Democrat but can’t win as a Democrat so he is running as an “Independent. It also indicates he is open to “Aligning himself to either party,” which is what he has to say to persuade people that he is independent.
Whatever his moderate faults and his actual residence, I would rather have Roberts than Greg Orman or Chad Taylor.
Orman is the Abortion candidate. Liberal Republicans and Democrats have lost power in this state and with it went the No. 1 late term abortion industry. The are desperate to get it back. This is the guy that they hope will do it form them. He’ll get quite a bit of help from Freepers.
Kansans, beware of a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Two of the most liberal people I know are enthusiastic Orman supporters. I really don’t know about Orman but that put me on full alert.
Charlie Crist is more conservative than Orman.

Chad Taylor drops out of the Senate race.
just learned this. Now its pretty much confirmed that Orman is a Democrat.
I’ve been wondering about the abortion industry out there in Kansas. Is there some kind of cultural attraction, or simply a lucrative money maker?
Major money maker and Dr. Tiller of Wichita bought all of the Democrat politicans including Sebelius. He bought quite a few Repbulicans ones as well. Tiller was murdered. People got digusted by all of it and the Democrats were gone. THEY’RE BAACK !!
Heitkamp has voted for Reid Obama every time except for the cop killer lawyer.
“If Im elected, theres a reasonable chance that neither party would have a majority in the US Senate. If that is the case, I will work with the other independent Senators to caucus with the party that is most willing to face our countrys difficult problems head on and advance our problem-solving, non-partisan agenda.
When it comes time to support a candidate for Majority Leader, I would encourage both parties to select a leader who has a demonstrated track record of working across the aisle as one indicator of his or her willingness to solve problems. I will look at responsible leaders from both sides like Democrat Heidi Heitkamp and Republican Lisa Murkowski who are willing to cross party lines to vote for what is right. Both Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell have been too partisan for far too long to earn my vote for Majority Leader.
With that said, if one party is clearly in the majority, I will seek to caucus with the party that was in the majority as that would be in the best interest for the state of Kansas.”
