When Max Baucus, the long serving Democrat Senator from Montana, suddenly stepped aside leaving Democrats no one to take his place they thought their problem was fixed with John Walsh. As Adjutant General of the Montana National Guard and State Lieutenant Governor he seemed like a great pick to hold the Baucus seat.
That scenario fell apart when Walsh was exposed as just another phony Democrat. The New York Times revealed that he had plagiarized his pitifully brief Army War College Master’s thesis. After some agonizing about what lie might work to fix the problem and send him to Washington anyway, the Democrats decided he had to be replaced. If they had only a small chance of winning with Walsh, they realized they now had no chance of holding the seat.
Given their choice of a replacement for Walsh, the Democrats have apparently decided to concede the seat and move on. Nevertheless, in a cycle where every dollar counts they had to make sure that their replacement was so repulsive to voters, especially Democrat donor voters, that no one would contribute–and thereby waste–a nickel. Was just in Helena MT at our daughter and son-in-law’s for 10 days. They and most of the people they know are horrified at this woman’s selection. Daughter works for the Justice department and knows many in state government and she said most libs are being very quiet about Curtis running. None of the typical comments about how great the candidate is. Mostly just crickets...

Funny thing is, she is EXACTLY the type of Democrat Washington would LOVE to get elected. I am amazed she is not already part of Obama's staff.

I certainly hope you are being sarcastic about wanting her to be elected. I remember when such sarcastic sentiments were stated wen Elizabeth “Feaucahontas” Warren ran for Senate in Massachusetts. Then she won, and now the leftists are pushing her to challenge Hillary.
If we had a better educated population and an electorate with common sense, we might be able to survive such a candidate, but goofball voters will elect her anyway.
