Imperial ... never heard of it

The Economy Class cabin of the 747 in the 60’s is worth the price alone. It shows you how much room has been lost in the name of profits and efficiency since the ‘60’s.
I don’t know how they managed to post a photo of a 1960 Imperial on a billboard in the fall of ‘56.
Amazing
Not the same exact hotel but, I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton on Place Vendome, hence my nom de jour.
Chopin room and I forget the name of the bar but, amazing place and service.
Lady Di and Natalie Wood. Whoo!
Timeless beauty.
When I lived in Tulsa I’d take girlfriends to Neiman Marcus and Miss Jackson and buy clothes ala Lady Di style...and a few other unmentionables...
The 7 Up and Coca Cola logos haven’t changed much.

I enjoyed the pictures, as usual, except for the one.... I appreciate the picture of Eastwood in London, and the RoadRunner ad, the look of determination in the welder’s eyes, the strange picture of the Zep over the pyramids. The monster American cars at the hotel in France look out of place, but yet fantastic .Thanks, Reaganite Republican. And may we have a good week.
Turner’s is still there!
Lots of things were better back then. My body, for one. BTT
My grandpa had a 59 Imperial.
HUGE tailfins!
