Sharpton a key adviser to Obama on Ferguson

The Rev. Al Sharpton is the White House’s man on the ground in Ferguson.

The 59-year-old Sharpton has become a key adviser to President Obama on race issues, according to Politico, and is acting as his liaison in the racially charged St. Louis suburb, where the police shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown led to days of riots.

Sharpton arrived at the protest site in Ferguson three days after the shooting and quickly began briefing the White House.

“There’s a trust factor with The Rev from the Oval Office on down,” a White House official told Politico. “He gets it, and he’s got credibility in the community that nobody else has got. There’s really no one else out there who does what he does.”

While in Ferguson, Sharpton met with the Brown family and reported back directly to Valerie Jarrett, one of Obama’s closest aides....

Al Sharpton cannot get the once, Black sheep to follow him!!! HIs endorsement of rallies all over the country a few days back did zilch...no one came!!! And his rally in Staten Island, NYC was a bust...only 1500 (according to the NYCPD) Sharpton nutcases showed up. New York City has a population of between eight to nine million citizens!!! The Obama/Sharpton, Flim/Flam gig ain’t working. Black folks are getting it!!! Obama....ain’t the man!!! And...neither is Sharpton!!!

Just in Chicago, every week end, dozens of blacks are murdered and wounded by black and nobody in the black leadership, neither Obama, nor Holder or the race pimps, care. When blacks kill blacks, there are not mob protesting and rioting, neither Holder’s Justice Department send 50 special agents to investigate and prosecute the culprits of a single case.

A 2007 special report released by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, reveals that approximately 8,000 — and, in certain years, as many as 9,000 African Americans are murdered annually in the United States. This chilling figure is accompanied by another equally sobering fact, that 93% of these murders are in fact perpetrated by other blacks. The analysis, supported by FBI records, finds that in 2005 alone, for example, African Americans accounted for 49% of all homicide victims in the US — again, almost exclusively at the hands of other African Americans.

To put these number in perspective, recall that over 6,400 U.S. service men and women have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan combined over the course of a decade-long war fought in those nations.
