In less time than it takes to blink an eye the shooting of Michael Brown was framed with a racist portrait.
For Auriel Brown (no relation to Michael), many of those "uncomfortable" discussions have taken place inside her own home, with her 12-year-old son.A former resident of St. Louis, the Wichita, Kan., mother spoke with the CBCs Keith Boag in Ferguson on Sunday about The Talk many black parents are forced to have with their children, particularly their boys.
You let your son know that, 'Hey, the world that you live in I hate to break it to you is a little bit different from those of your classmates,'" said Brown about preparing her son for the racism he may encounter as he grows older.
"'People do have these preconceived ideas about who you are just because of what others have done or because of somebodys fear of unknown... so unfortunately, youre going to be stereotyped, and sometimes youre going to be treated in a way thats really unfair. I just need you to know how to handle it in way thats not going to make things worse for you.'"
A couple of days ago Eric Holder penned a message to the people of Ferguson MO.
At the same time, good law enforcement requires forging bonds of trust between the police and the public. This trust is all-important, but it is also fragile. It requires that force be used in appropriate ways. Enforcement priorities and arrest patterns must not lead to disparate treatment under the law, even if such treatment is unintended. And police forces should reflect the diversity of the communities they serve.
There are some strong undertones in it and they beg several questions. Are black people more inclined to respect black cops than white cops? Would Michael Brown have obeyed a black cop who ordered him to walk on the sidewalk? Would Michael Brown not have assaulted a black cop? Is that what Holder is intimating? Is Holder suggesting that white cops patrol white areas and black cops patrol black areas? What if the police department was as diversified as Holder wanted? Would that guarantee Brown wouldn't encounter a white cop? Wasn't segregation a bad thing?
Holder went to Ferguson to share his painful personal memories of racism:
I understand that mistrust. I am the attorney general of the United States. But I am also a black man, Holder said during an appearance at Florissant Valley Community College. I think about my time in Georgetown a nice neighborhood of Washington and I am running to a picture movie at about 8 oclock at night. I am running with my cousin. Police car comes driving up, flashes his lights, yells where you going? Hold it! I say, Whoa, Im going to a movie.
As though that had anything to do with anything. Holder has been stopped twice for speeding and once for running down a street.
So have I. I too must be a victim of racism. If I had only known....
Victor Davis Hanson observes that there are common themes to the incidents which result in civil unrest over perceived racial mistreatment.

No - it’s not about ‘race’. It’s about an EXCUSE to what the Left and their dependents want to do to America.
They want to make it a racist issue, that way the blacks can commit anykind of crime and our legal system can’t do anything about it for fear of being racist.
Clearly the officer here is on the verge of being railroaded, it`s totally outrages. I fear now that various witnesses will start to come forward fabricating accounts against the officer, it may have already begun.
The latest shooting is not helpful, and the community wants the Ferguson officer to pay for all injustices (in their minds) going back to who knows when.
Not suggesting that there has never been any unfairness from some police towards the black community , it`s just that this particular case and George Zimmerman clearly have the ear marks of people that are falsely accused.
There is a pattern that is very obvious to me that shows the signs of people being railroaded, Zimmerman and this officer are screaming with this.
I fear for this officer, he is right to be frightened! I do NOT have faith in the system that justice will be done here, clearly imo justice here would be no charges being laid
I don’t normally watch O’Reilly, think he’s a gas bag, but man, he gave this speech on his show last night that just utterly obliterated the race baiters, Sharpton and the MSM, it was epic. Here it is if you want to watch it...Too bad the RINO party won’t to talk like this......

Most blacks don't get this. They think people are treating them differently because they are black, when the reality is they are treating them different for the same reason people treat whites covered with tattoos and body piercings different ,because they are looking and acting like THUGS!
Get on some decent clothes and act like a civilized human being and you will be SHOCKED at how different you are treated by EVERYONE.
I nearly ALWAYS overdress. And you know why? because I learned this lesson AGES ago! When I dress like a bum, I am treated like a bum (and I am as white as it gets) but when I dress nice, I am treated nice and with respect.
Too bad Michael Brown’s parents didn’t have the little talk with him about not stealing, not assaulting store owners, not walking down the middle of the street, not assaulting police officers. Little lessons about life like that.
Ferguson is 70% black so pretty good chance that Sgt. Wilson interacted with blacks on the job.
Six years, no complaints. He even got an award. Promoted to Sgt.
