Seeing Hollywood side against America is nothing new. Whether the enemies are Islamists or Communists, Tinsel Town’s biggest and brightest stars are there on the front lines and always have been.
The active and passive support Hollywood stars are showing for the Palestinian Liberation Front in its war against Israel is not an aberration but rather what should be expected. People who parrot other people’s words often feel a need to show how independent they are which leads them to comment on the issues of the day.
Nevertheless, saying “America is the greatest county ever conceived,” does not draw the type of attention these egomaniacs crave. Attacking America to show “what independent thinking persons” they are suits their nature much better.
Richard Belzer comes to mind here. He once said he knew more about what was happening in the Iraq War than the soldiers fighting it because “I read twenty newspapers a day.” Apparently Mister Belzer never noticed that the twenty stories about the war he was reading had virtually the same text because they were re-writes of the same original piece. If he had tried a Google key word search he would have learned this is true, but that would have bruised his ego.

They are all afraid of their own shadow, would not step one inch away from their 'friends' opinions and are terrified of being rejected. They cannot/will not figure anything out for themselves... but love telling US how it is!

Much of this is your wishful thinking. Hollywood values its opinions far more than yours even though their only skill is to pretend they are someone else. But, their money and fame exerts enormous power on your world and until/unless we conservatives stop paying them to speak (read that, don't go to movies), the manicurists and parking attendants and body builders will control the conversation. We gave them this platform, and we won't stop giving it to them.

I have been a cultural dissident for decades and I refuse to subsidize these creeps for anything.

News flash, Your Highness...those you look down upon don't give a flying Fig Newton about how hard your job is, or how smart or skilled you are in doing it...and they outnumber you. They're the ones who are going to be getting elected to office for the next 50 years, and will be raiding your portfolio and taxing your estate to pay for their vote-buying social programs! They ARE telling you how it is, and how it will be, because you're too busy feeling superior, on your moral high ground, to realize they're undermining you...and the rest of the nation as well.

Unless and until we in the center-right take an honest look at our failing tactics, we're going to keep losing ground, and sooner rather than later, our Republic. Boycotting ain't working. I've been boycotting Michael Moore for 20 years, but the lard a** is still making movies. I've been boycotting K-Mart for 15 years, but they still refuse to sell ammo. All boycotting accomplishes is inflates our sense of self-worth.
Are you an investor? If so, here's an idea...why don't we vote with our dollars by creating hedge funds to buy control of pop culture outlets? Why don't we pool our money and buy control of Disney? And Paramount? And Columbia Records? And Electronic Arts? And Comcast? And Facebook? And the Washington Redskins? Once the fund has control, we, the investors, could then have the final say over what kinds of movies, music, video games and shows are produced. We could tell the overpaid chimps in the NFL and NBA to dress, talk, and behave like adults, instead of doing the "hands up, don't shoot" at their games. We could find, sign and promote conservative and patriotic musicians, actors, writers, producers, athletes and companies.
That way, instead of just not patronizing the Leftist pop culture that holds sway over 40-and under Americans, we could change the message they're getting from the media. We could use those things they accept to deliver our message of American exceptionalism. We could do something proactive and effective, rather than just feeling smug and sanctimonious, waiting for the end to come so we can take our money and dash off to Bolivia.

While I certainly would not call them conservatives, Matt and Trey seem to be the only ones who are effective at going after the sacred cows of the Left.
That said, there are conservative and patriotic artists out here...in the interest of full disclosure, I are one. I'm not the best guitarist in the world, and I'm damn sure not much of a singer (then again, James Hetfield is a multi-millionaire, and I'm Pavarotti compared to him). But I think my songs could get into people's heads, and give them something to think about other than the "evil America" and "evil rich people" tirades they usually hear in pop/rock/rap/metal. Go to Big Dawg Music Mafia's site and you'll hear even better stuff than mine. The talent is out here, we just need help getting our work out there for the low-information types to digest.
