Muslims protesting against ISIS probably wouldn’t get any backlash at all from most Americans. The only backlash that I’d expect would come from the Hamas-loving, anti-Israel leftists.

Also on 9-11 in America, muzzies drew their curtains, turned on CNN, watched the towers burning, then repeatedly crowed “Allahu Akbar!!” as first one, then the second tower collapsed into pyres of burning ashes, taking thousands of human lives with them.

The initial muzzie response to this atrocity was, “we are going to be terribly persecuted for this!”

Nothing’s changed & muzzies haven’t changed. Start deporting those with even the smallest connection to terrorists. Then broaden the sweep. Across the board.

Not to be glib about, but as a post dedicated to humor, I would think the punchline would be compromised somewhat if I included the sarc tag. Besides, the written word existed for thousands of years without the need for a sarc tag.

But, I have given in to my habit of never including a sarc tag when after leaving comments, headlines,that were so outlandish as to feel confident no one could possibly take seriously. I would get people complaining or asking about it as if it were real or serious and after feeling guilty, cringing at the thought of how embarrassed they felt being fooled into believing it, I put an end to it.

After 9/11/01 CAIR's Ibrahim Hooper's statement was (paraphrasing): "The event was just terrible, stop picking on Muslims, let us teach you about Islam." "Event" was his word. He even urged his radical followers to use the "event" to fundamental Islam's advantage.

So I'll do it for the "throngs of American Muslims" and CAIR, et al.

"The events in Iraq are just terrible, they are the acts of criminals not Muslims, Christians have done similar throughout history. Stop picking on Muslims, let us teach you about Islam."

It’s the kind of headline you read, identify as an attempt at humor, and in the back of your mind say “please, let it be true”.

I've been ambivalent about doing it and have curtailed my propensity for such an approach because if you have a certain sense of humor, attitude you end up enjoying the letdown of expectations or suspension of belief if it is done right but no matter how outrageous it can be, I will still have those who believe I am serious and end up greatly embarrassing them so I stopped doing it. The funniest example is the time I included this image below captioning it as one of six new flying aircraft carriers the Chinese have recently launched and this guy swallowed it hook, line and sinker and went berserk over it. I really felt bad about it. But once in a while I'll do it in a less intense manner.
