Arkansas Dem uses McCain to aid reelection bid

When a far left Democrat such as Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor uses his campaign advertising to offer quotes from John McCain to distinguish himself from U.S. Rep Tom Cotton, his conservative Republican opponent, it’s clear there is a trouble in Liberalville.

Pryor ‘s latest ad features McCain’s quote that “anyone who calls it amnesty is not being intellectually honest,” fires back at a recent Cotton campaign ad, saying Pryor “voted for amnesty and citizenship for illegals.”

“Mark Pryor voted the same way as John McCain and many other Republican senators,” Pryor’s ad defends. “Secure the border first.”

Very McCainesque, indeed.

Tom Cotton is against amnesty but is also a neocon. People get confused. Steve King is almost as bad as McCain on foreign policy. Cotton overshadowed Paul Ryan at an immigration meeting in the House caucus.

If you look at Jennifer Rubin's stupid blog, she attacks Rand on foreign policy and Steve King on immigration 90% of the time. Pretty much no other members of congress get mentioned.

It shows that McCain is a Democrat’s favorite phony Republican.

Cotton needs to bring in Jeff Sessions and Vitter into his state. They don’t have any competition until 2015(Vitter Gov bid). Sessions has no opponents in 2014.

Tom Cotton should bring out a Bill Clinton immigration ad from any time Clinton was in office. Clinton’s immigration views were more popular than McCain or Dole’s.

Pryor is trying to run as a Republican because his record as a Democrat is so bad.

==

The ads are getting kind of nasty.

Pryor accused Cotton of voting to raise the Medicare/SS retirement age.

Now, Cotton is running an ad accusing Pryor of supporting an increase in the Medicare/SS retirement age.

Ads from both sides seem nit-picky — they make statements but do not provide any significant details or support.

I am positive McCain has been promised that if he supports Reid and supports moderates in GOP held states, Reid will support Cindy McCain’s appointment to the Senate.

Cindy McCain will then flip to Dem.
This will happen before 2016

Sounds like Prior is willing to LOSE THE HISPANIC VOTE, just to get right-wing Tea Party types.

Not good, doesn’t he know that the Democrat Party has no future without Hispanics. They will be toast.

...or perhaps he and the Dems know more than they’re letting on regarding secure borders. Now the Republicans are CONSTANTLY being told by their advisers (most of them gay, by the way) that the ONLY way to win the Hispanic vote is by supporting OPEN BORDERS - perhaps the Democrats know that isn’t really the case (and it’s not, Hispanics know full-well what’s down there and sure as heck don’t want it here).
