There is a lion in the Middle East known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS.) They are devouring the sheep. A strategically orchestrated mob of sexually repressed angry young men gladly pledging allegiance in the name of god, murder and rape is winning victory after victory. The local law enforcement are getting beheaded and the towns are being taken one after the other.
Anything that doesn’t conform to their ideology of Islam is being destroyed. Non-Muslims are being robbed, displaced, persecuted, or killed. Religious sites and temples are being destroyed. Reasonable Muslims must stay silent, conform, or die. Where is the hero that will stand up to these thugs?
The greatest glory of the United States has been World War II. Hitler represented the epitome of evil, the ugly face of extreme bigotry, intolerance, and mass murder. It seems that after WWII the U.S. has engaged in conflicts to recapture the glory with disastrous results. A country that’s supposed to be for democracy has denied the elective process to people in other countries. A country that’s supposed to be for the protection of innocents has been the murderer of innocents.
But here’s a chance to once again engage in battle with something that is truly evil. Religious extremists who will bring long suffering to millions and feed global terrorism. We went to war in Iraq for reasons unsatisfactory to most Americans looking back. But we won’t return when innocents are being slaughtered by terrorists using weapons that we inadvertently supplied them with? Who are we?
Are we so exhausted after being at war for so long when the justifications were cloudy to now engage in battle when the reasoning is clear? There is no doubt that the cost in lives and wealth has been great while the reward has been a country vulnerable to extremism even worse than what they had under Saddam. But what does the United States stand for? Any decision to put lives at stake is hard, but aren’t there principles that we fight for as a country? Don’t our brave men and women in the military understand their duties to defend the free world?
This shouldn’t just be a U.S. engagement of liberation. What does the United Nations stand for, what do they fight for? They allow members that reject U.N. values of equality and free speech. Has the U.N. become an army of lions led by a sheep?
The ISIS virus spread rapidly in the Middle East. Just as rapidly as it came, it can be driven out. Take them out of town after town. Restore local law enforcement and order and peace. Don’t do it for oil. Don’t do it for financial interests. Do it because it’s the right thing to do for the quality of life in Iraq, the region and the world for current and future generations. Do it as a matter of national security. Let the U.S. be the lion it once was.

The Allies of the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS include the Obama GITMO FIVE, who were unilaterally released by the High Command of the Muslim Democrat Brotherhood in Washington, D.C.
If the GITMO FIVE used their “pens and phones to act on their own” then ISIS was an Obama creation.
Why would Obama seek to harm ISIS when he helped create it?
