I love how the media, in a frantic attempt to cover Obama’s tracks, is working overtime to convince us Ebola is not deadly or highly contagious. Check, please! There are documented cases of trained experts contracting Ebola while wearing environmental suits and dying. So far, more than 100 health workers that were on the front lines fighting the virus have ended up contracting Ebola themselves. This is happening despite the fact that they go to extraordinary lengths to keep from getting the disease.
I have no problem providing the best possible treatment for those two courageous Americans who were merely trying to remedy the suffering of others, but for the life of me I don’t understand why the CDC wouldn’t secure treatment through a foreign base or hospital? Why risk a pandemic of Ebola, one of the deadliest contagions ever known to man, by consciously introducing it to our urban epicenters? Who doesn’t like to keep napalm in the forest? I could careless about the promise of experimental vaccines, or survival rates, for viruses mutate faster than the legality of an IRS audit at a gun show. Speaking of authority, for the love of God why aren’t international passengers being tirelessly screened at every port, station, checkpoint and airport traveling anywhere near the U.S.? Just don't be alarmed that the CDC has set up an Ebola "quarantine station" at LAX in order to help prevent the spread of the virus once it arrives here; which will be too late to prevent deaths on our soil. American citizens can’t take mouthwash or tweezers on a flight without being questioned or detained, yet somehow Ebola doesn’t rise to that level of discretion because Washington – ground zero for incompetence and corrupt leadership – says so?
Do you want to know what’s even scarier? Me neither! Ever since his youth Obama has blamed America and vowed revenge for the so-called rape and economic colonization of Africa; not that indigenous warlords and rogue dictators continue to enslave and kill their countrymen in the name of humanity. How ironic, utterly tragic, would it be if the modern plague of his native homeland granted Barry the national emergency he so desperately craves in order to consolidate power, bring America to its knees, and enact martial law? Sorry, I put nothing past a man who was raised by Communists, identified with radical Islamists in college and Congress, and spent 20 years in a blatantly anti-American church. And now, at the most opportune time of progressive ambivalence, we have no borders. Illegal immigrants never carry disease, do they? Thank God Mexico has standards and polio. Welcome to Ebola….population “dumb”!
Note: "Barack Obama has just signed an executive order that gives the federal government the power to apprehend and detain Americans that show symptoms of "diseases that are associated with fever and signs and symptoms of pneumonia or other respiratory illness, are capable of being transmitted from person to person, and that either are causing, or have the potential to cause, a pandemic, or, upon infection, are highly likely to cause mortality or serious morbidity if not properly controlled."
The CDC has just put up a brand new webpage entitled "Infection Prevention and Control Recommendations for Hospitalized Patients with Known or Suspected Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever in U.S. Hospitals.
And I do believe the media are way downplaying this...and not reporting on positives perhaps. In this country reporting it could be a HPPA violation. So we may not even know if someone here has it.
That is not an indication of an airborne virus. What study was this? Can you give me a citation so I can read it?
This virus has since 1976 when it was first discovered been transmitted solely through intimate contact with body fluids... The variations have not changed this.
Where is this picture from? I know that the gear these people are using is not the proper gear for a modern medical containment facility. The use of a tubed equivalent is cute but not has mat quality medically speaking. The gloves shown May or May not be tripled. The googles and mouth covering are not adequate.
I have also seen pictures away from cities where they are using chemical grade gloves that are being washed and reused.
These are NOT containment suits. Would appreciate more information about the picture
Not this strain as I recall. And it doesn't matter - droplet precautions are three feet and it is in sweat. It can live in dried material on a surface for several days and still be infectious. Calling it airborne doesn't make it any worse.

Citing one of Alex jones’s insane Infowar contributors is non-meaningful. This is not an airborne disease and has not been since first discovered in 1976. ALL cases have been transmitted by intimate association with body fluids (vomit, stools, urine, blood). In the places that have the disease tribal practices have people staying away from hospitals. They also lack hygiene standards that would be considered modern. They also have an ester worship practices that lead to involvement with
Vomiting and fever are pretty routine for the average ER. No one can treat a patient from three feet. And finally almost no Docs here have ever even seen ebola before.
I was citing the OSHA and other training I am required by my employers to do yearly. Droplet precautions are three feet.
That’s training from my 30 plus years working in health care.
Give me the name of the study or where printed. Your current post changes somewhat the parameters of your first claim. Not being an airborne virus is VERY critical to how fast it can travel. AIDS can live outside the body too but is transmitted through body fluids. Measles, small pix, chicken pix, polio, tab, plague are airborne.
Ebola is present in all body fluids, including saliva and snot.
What makes you think airborne is so important?

In spite of this more healthcare workers have gotten sick and died than ever before with ebola.
I live in Georgia and this story has been well covered. Notice the breathing pack? Notice the full containment suits which include a far different head gear? Of course you don’t because you want to spread fear.
There is no indication that this doctor who got it had anything like the gear he is being transported in. In fact the plane had a special room built into it. The ambulance was a special unit.
You have not cited the source for yor picture of the west Africa doctors

I don’t know the source. I just googled for an image from this outbreak and pulled it. It doesn’t matter - there are tons of out them out there. Look for yourself.
Your own statements are contradictory. You just cite all of the things that you have never gotten with minimal protection....all of which are not airborne
