"There are good and evil people in all religions."

While it may be true that evil people have infiltrated all religions, it is not conversely true that all religions are both good and evil. (Although I'm sure a Ron Paul loving wingnut like yourself might be tempted to believe some such thing.)

Islam is a comfortable place for murderous pedophile goat humping child rapers to call home which cannot be said of Christianity of Judaism.

But deep down you know that, don't you, Gooch?

(Finally the list-making Taint is unmasked.)

I like and respect grundle's 666 lists.

But this thread has placed him high on the "To be Zotted" list. Just a heads up.

Every “moderate” Muslim is a potential terrorist. The belief in Islam is like a tank of gasoline. It looks innocuous, until it meets the fire. For a “moderate” Muslim to become a murderous jihadist, all it takes is a spark of faith.

It is time to put an end to the charade of “moderate Islam.” There is no such thing as moderate Muslim. Muslims are either jihadists or dormant jihadists – moderate, they are not.

Ileft the following on his blog.

I don’t have a problem with your article pointing out that not all Muslims should be lumped together as murderous religious fanatics. In fact, many people have pointed out polls which say that maybe only 10% of Muslims worldwide are in that category–with another 20% or so actively supporting the radicals, another 20% neutral and the rest hiding their heads in the sand. (not knocking their homelands).

Do those numbers make your point? It’s a common defense of those who don’t want to stigmatize an entire religion. Makes you feel good doesn’t it?

To me, considering the estimated worldwide numbers of Muslims at over one billion, it says that 100 million religious fanatics want to behead or enslave me simply because I’m an atheist and don’t belong to their ‘religion’—and another 200 million or so are OK with that.

I’m not OK with that. I don’t care that it’s possible that a majority are willing to join the rest of the modern world with good will and love of humanity. No other modern religion has a track record of lethal terrorism and bigotry so I don’t have to cut them any slack. They are responsible for their reputation.. By their works you will know them.

Of course you don’t agree with the muslim “bashing” that is going on.

You are agnostic, so you have no way of knowing what is Godly and what is ungodly.

The bashing is done by the Islamic muslims, bashing in the heads of children, women and men. As well as cutting them off.

Islam is not a religion, has nothing to do with the God of the Bible, and is a political machine bent on destroying every living being that does not convert to the Islamic “faith.”

People like you writing from abject ignorance in support of Islam will be the first ones killed, so prepare yourself.

Those that you support want you dead. Dead. Beheaded. And any women in your family buried to their waists and stoned to death.

Why an ungodly Islamic muslim terrorist supporter is allowed to post on Free Republic is beyond my comprehension.

People should be judged as individuals. There are good and evil people in all religions.

Let's see the author say this about Nazis. I'm sure they had some great inventions also. The author is another Judas.

Islam is a global cancer that infects all the countries all the time. The so-called good Muslims are only waiting for the opportune time to take over. Example: France and England.

The followers of the Satanic Pedophile Mo-Ham-N-Eggs deserve the ridicule and vile. The only contribution they ever gave to the fabric of this nation was the Barbary Pirates kidnapping and enslaving our people after that, 9-11 is the only other thing that comes to mind.

Dan,

Are you suggesting that "the very fabric of our nation" goes back only to 1973 when the Sears Tower was erected?

Most people assume "the very fabric of our nation" to begin at the beginning.

Were there any Muslims at Jamestown, or on the Mayflower? Maybe there was a Muslim with Columbus on the Nina, Pinta, or Santa Maria?

Were there any Muslims in Congress on July 4, 1776? Did any Muslims ratify the United States Constitution?

These are the things that most of us consider to be "the very fabric of our nation."

That's why there is the outrage. The very things that make up "American Exceptionalism" are the things that Obama now wants to attribute to Muslims instead.

"I’m Jewish by birth, agnostic by choice,..."

Yeah well, I'm vegetarian by birth (breast fed) and carnivorous by choice.

I'm no more a vegetarian than this joker is a Jew.

On the point that we should judge people as individuals, I agree wholeheartedly. I would never pre-judge anyone based on their religious heritage.

I also agree, in general, American Moslems are probably the most tolerable and most integrated of all Western Moslems. I think America's sense of nationalism and integration has gone a long way in that, as compared to Europe's surrender to its immigration wave from Africa and the Middle East.

With that said, Detroit is a hell hole of Moslem intolerance. The fact that the police do nothing to reign in Moslem violence does not help the matter.

As far as the Islamic world is concerned, there is a pattern there of either all out extremism or among the vast populace, silent consent for what the terrorists are doing.

Odd time to bring this up, when Israel is practically isolated in its struggle for existence.

I’m Jewish by birth, agnostic by choice, and I have a strong interest in Jediism and Greek Mythology.

No, no...genealogy aside, that makes you a practicing nerd, not a practicing Jew.
