Here is recent map, sorry I didn't find one in English. In yellow and blue is Ukrainian territory, Russia is brown and separatists controlled territory is in between. There is two or three pockets where Ukrainian army having hard time, it is near Russian border. They are between separatists and Russians who fire from Russian territory. Pentagon admitted today that Russia is firing artillery from its own territory into Ukraine to hit Ukrainian military sites. They doing it for second week.
To understand what future may hold for us let me remind how it went with Osetia in 2008. Russia was supplying Osetian separatists with tanks and heavy weapons. They fired at Georgian cities quite for a while and eventually Georgians couldn't stand it longer and moved on Osetians and Russian troops have been there waiting, so they counter attacked and found themselves deep into Georgian territory.
We can see that Russians want to play the same scenario, but so far it doesn't work. Why? First because Ukrainians not so impulsive and hot blooded as Georgians. Ukrainians reserved and even tempered people. Everyone understand if we attack Russians on their territory then Putin will send so called peacekeepers. Of course if nothing else works Russians can attack their cities themselves and tell Ukrainians did it. Either way in Ukraine we have third wave of mobilization. Another 50.000 reservists will join army. Everyone understand it is not to fight separatists, it is to hold wide-front offensive of Russian army.
I want to say a couple of words to people who have financial interests in Russia or who somehow connected with Russia ecnonomically. Get out of this market, it has no future. Just grab whatever you can get out of this mess and invest somewhere else. Things in Russia will never get back on track. This empire is finished. Future trend is that things bad today and they will be worse tomorrow until worse of all...
Pentagon says the transfer of multiple-launch rocket systems from Russia to separatists appears to be imminent: http://reut.rs/1mNuOvR
The Civil War in Ukraine is now OFFICIALLY a Civil War, per the Red Cross, whose determinations are recognized per International Law.

Some of the usual suspects are still trying to deny that a Civil War exists in Ukraine, however.
Controlling the language of this means a lot to Kiev.
Calling it a “Civil War” means admitting they are fighting their own citizens, and not “Terrorists.
Probably so....at this point Russia has nothing to loose by arming them against the foe....and they wouldn’t be doing so with without the US knowing. Somebody has to stop this.....the US certainly isn’t going to send massive armament across the ocean again.
We said in the beginning then when all that was accomplished to set the stage for Urkaine was in place...Russia would be the one to come in and calm the waters, this with Nation leaders approval. But they have to make it look like they aren’t approving.
I don’t think Putin has issue with the US teams giving Ukraine an upper hand....he wants the nation stable and didn’t care for Ynacovich either. But the US played the wrong cards using the right sector and putting them in office, for it riled the eastern ukrainians something fierce.
(Remember it was the US who also helped RUssia get on it’s feet by sending teams of gov. workers in to show Putin how to do it...and he knows it very well)
There’s a reason Yats stepped down other than what most hear in the news.....first there’s no money without the gas/deals...and no money for the army.....the parliament would not vote for the US takeover of these....yats was furious....as those who want state run gas deals would not bend....here’s what he said:
The fact that the coalition has fallen apart, that laws havent been voted on,.. that soldiers cant be paid,.. that there is no money to buy rifles,... that there is no possibility to fill gas storages.... What options do we have now? .......”If no new coalition is formed and the existing coalition in a parliamentary-presidential republic have collapsed, the government and the prime minister have to resign.... I announce my resignation because of the coalitions collapse, he said.
and here’s the kicker.....Gas of course......
He also expressed disappointment with Ukrainian parliaments decision to reject a bill that allows the government to hand over up to 49 percent of the countrys gas transport system to investors from the European Union and the United States.
Baloney --
Their statements are made for political reasons so they can carry on their humanitarian mission without taking sides. Calling it a civil wart is their way of doing that.
And in this case the Russian rebels who shot down MH17 thugged them into making that statement, otherwise the thugs would not let them bring in their ambulances to treat the wounded.
I hope they all boned up on their Russian.
This is a critical turning point...coming at the same time the Parliment is caving in...and Yats resigning....(which is really another takeover coming in view of Kiev’s Parlikment so Poroshenko has complete control)...I think we’re going to see the Maidan Leaders, who were intially supported, dropped like hot potatoes more and more,.... they have served their purpose.
Obama sending more Pentagon officials, (as if not enough there already)...and Putin now lining up on the border......coupled with the destruction of the east pretty much entire where they will rebuild. It’s happening just as said in the beginning...Putin will send in the heavy stuff to take out the Right sector thugs and others to bring calm to the are....and this with approval of other nations.
He’s got Crimea and his ports....the US will ramp up the Governance to resemble something Putin can work with as well as the EU......and Poroshenko will likely remain in charge if he’s a good boy and co-operates.
The MH17 will be either pushed way down the road enough to no longer have the headlines....and the blame will be put on whatever militia guy easiest to blame.
Interesting that the Parliment wouldn’t go along with the sell out to US control of the gas......as result the house of cards came tumbling down.
I think we’ll be seeing more of Russian equipment and men to operate happening quickly now......was watching a host of videos last night and there are many there already assisting the fighters to take out the bad guys and bring some degree fo calm to the are....pretty amazing watching them pile into Ukraine from the border....their mission...and I have o doubt with International Approval....to bring calm to the area now.

Sounds like a scene from 24.
The Catastrophe of #MH17: #BBC in the Search of the #BUK The Video Report Deleted by @BBC
Forgot about this one. I was watching CNN Morning News at 6:00 AM while having coffee and they had a reporter from the MH17 crash scene and he had found what he called the biggest piece of wreckage found yet. In the woods. Apparently nobody else had found it yet. I imagine there are more bodies just like that yet to be found.
Never a dull moment on the world stage with Obama giving the go hand.
Yes...the area is so vast...miles in fact...it’s going to take time to cover it. So I;m not surprised things will be found as well as lost people.
From your lips to Tsar's ear...
“I think well be seeing more of Russian equipment”
Up to around June 27th, Russia was giving the rebels dribs and drabs of equipment.
After that date, the amount of equipment coming from Russia seems to have been to keep the rebels on parity with Kiev.
If they are upping the quality and numbers of equipment now, IMO we are entering an “End” phase.
To go along with this, there are Twitter Reports that “Babay” went home for couple of weeks, and is on his way back now with “Several hundred Cossack Recruits”.
The Rebels now have undisputed control of several border points, including the contested Izvarino, so the stuff will likely flood in now.
The South Pocket is now completely cut off, with the fall of the Zarachnaya (sp?) border post.
Kiev is pressing in the north though, and the rebels have fallen back from Lysychansk.
Supposedly, the 72nd Airmobile Brigade HQ was “Eliminated” last night and this morning. It would explain the fall of the border posts.
This video was supposedly taken this morning:

Area MLRS can be devastating.
Brit National/RT Reporter Graham Phillips has been released/deported.
Says he wasn’t beaten, but his fixer was severely beaten, and is still being held. Kiev’rs kept his UK-plated car.
The Anna News Reporters were released this morning.
Careful, that google search can be a heavy lift.
It’s a long way from Vladivostok to Las Cruces.
